'The Bold and the Beautiful's Don Diamont heads to 'The Young and the Restless'

The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful have a really interesting and exciting crossover coming up soon. Don Diamont who portrays Dollar Bill Spencer in LA, will return to his old stomping grounds of Genoa City and torment Sally Spectra. Longtime soap fans recall that Diamont once portrayed Brad Carlton on Y&R and had a daughter Coleen when he was married to Tracy Abbott. Both Coleen and her father died but their memories live on. Shortly after his Y&R character was killed off, Diamont was hired on the CBS sister soap B&B as the son of publishing giant Bill Spencer Sr.

According to Soap Dirt when Dollar Bill hits Genoa City, fans need to listen carefully because he will make a few references to his former Y&R character. This will be exciting for those who can remember when Brad was alive in Geno City.Sally Spectra has been attempting to run roughshod over the Abbott family since she came to Genoa City. She found out a secret about Kyle and might be playing Jack and not really care for him. That's a lot of nerve to be making a play for a man while you are blackmailing his son.

It's obvious Ms. Spectra has forgotten what it is like to be on the receiving end of someone's wrath but perhaps looking Dollar Bill in the face will remind her. Sally is feeling invincible and as though everything is going her way. One look at her former nemesis, however, might put her back in her place. Ms. Spectra seems to have forgotten how she was down and out and washed up on the beach in front of Wyatt Spencer's home. Maybe she needs a reminder from the man who destroyed her life.

Spoilers do not give details regarding how Bill's visit will rattle Sally's cage, but only that it does. When Courtney Hope's character was on The Bold and the Beautiful, there was some sympathy for her after Bill Spencer ruined her business and her life. When she lied that she was dying to hold onto Wyatt, however, fans began turning on her. Now in Genoa City, Ms. Spectra believes she can run roughshod over the Abbott family but in time her actions will no doubt come back to bite her.

There is a saying that there is no fool like an old fool and this certainly applies to Jack Abbott. He seems enamored of Sally and spoilers suggest that he has more than a fatherly interest in the young woman. Y&R viewers have been vocal about not desiring to see Jack hurt again by a younger woman. The writers, however, seem determined to take him down this path again. Whatever Dollar Bill says or does to Sally, will probably only upset her temporarily because he will soon be back in LA.

It will be great to see Don Diamont back on The Young and the Restless and listen to his veiled comments that relate to his time on the show as Brad. Bill will be in town to conclude his business transaction with Kyle and Summer but viewers can't wait to see how he affects Sally. Bill has never liked Ms. Spectra and spent a lot of time trying to destroy her when she was in LA. he knows her secrets and he might reveal a few, or perhaps he will enjoy just seeing the look on her face when he arrives in town.

Be sure to watch The Young and the Restless this week as it is back on the air now that the Impeachment hearings are over. Projected episodes will be a day or 2 off because of the interruption last week but everything projected will indeed happen. Stay tuned to see how Dollar Bill makes Sally squirm and whether or not his presence might slow her down a bit.

Bill has proven that he always goes back to her sister Brook so Katie should not remarry her ex. The dashing Bill Spencer should be on the lookout for a new love who can take his mind off of the Logan sisters. Perhaps he might find someone interesting while he is in Genoa City.
