Tara thinks she is in control

Next week on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Tara Locke puts all her cards on the table with Summer Newman. In decades gone by this woman would have been considered a shameless hussy. Thanks to Sally Spectra Tara is channeling all of her inner demons and determined to run Summer away from Genoa City. Mrs Locke will tell Sumner flat out that she needs to get out of the way so that she, Kyle, and Harrison can bond. She adds that her son needs 2 loving parents and her meaning is clear.

Tara believes that with Summer out of the way she can get Kyle to fall in love with her again. The two women will trade insults and go tit for tat for quite a while. Summer will threaten to tell Kyle the truth and Tara says she will take her son far away if that happens and that Kyle will blame Sumner. The storyline seems to be headed in the direction of Summer taking off for the job abroad and leaving Kyle in the hands of Tara. There have been no reports that Hunter King is leaving THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS which indicates that there could be a different outcome.

Sally's role

Summer will also have an encounter with Sally Spectra who will act surprised that Sumner has been offered the job in Milan. Sally will pretend to be hurt and say that Sumner has taken everything from her.She will put on such a show that Summer will wonder if she is faking and viewers know that she is. Many of those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are furious at the way Sally and Tara have plotted Summer’s downfall. Tara even pointed out that she has Kyle’s son and Sunner does not.

Phyllis in the mix

Summer has left a message for her mother to call her and she may or may not tell Phyllis the entire truth. Summer is overwhelmed because she realized Tara is simply wanting to trade Aston’s millions for the Abbott fortune and does not truly love Kyle. If she fills her mom in on the situation Phyllis is not going to let her daughter leave town. She will want Summer to remain in Genoa City and fight her rival. Summer, however, may not listen because she is not going to want to be the reason Kyle loses his son.

She is dealing with a lot of conflicting emotions right now and not in the best place to make decisions.,!One thing that might work in Summer’s favor is if the new DNA test indicates that Ashton is the father of Harrison. Aston is focusing on Victoria and his being diagnosed with cancer and the test results have not been mentioned since Locke told Victoria he was going to obtain them. Spoilers worked overtime to have Aston perceived as the big bad Lockeness monster but now he is dealing with cancer and seems to have become somewhat calmer.

The future

Many viewers suspect the DNA results will confirm that Kyle is not Harrison’s dad. A number of those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS feel that there are missing pieces to the puzzle where Ashland and Tara are concerned and are looking for clues of what is really going on. Spoilers have indicated that Locke will be around at least through the summer.

There are also rumors that Sally might go back to THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Nothing has been revealed about Tara but all 3 of these new faces in Genoa City are turning Summer Newman’s life upside down. Will Summer leave town or will Phyllis convince her to stay? Is Kyle really Harrison’s dad and what is Dally really up to? These and more questions need to be answered so stay tuned to find out how this all works out.
