Steve has been in the news since last year when he was fired from General Hospital for refusing to get the COVID vaccine. GH fans were devastated and hoping somehow he might return as Jason Morgan.

Burton's followers were happy to hear that he has joined the cast of the Peacock series Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem 2 which premieres on July 11. Some fans are even wondering if he might obtain a regular role on the NBC soap. The actor had a small role on DOOL in the 1970s and also portrayed Dillion Macavoy on The Young and the Restless.
