Selina Wu will return with a vengeance on General Hospital

Lydia Look's prominence in Port Charles is increasing

Lydia Look began portraying Ms. Wu on General Hospital in August 2015 but wa basically a figurehead literally and figuratively. She showed up once and a while in sporadic appearances as the leader of the Wu crime syndicate when the heads of the Five Families, had meetings. Fans have been expressing how they are enjoying the character holding her own in the mob world that is dominated by men. Viewers also say they love Look's icy glare and her ability to never break stride.

Ms. Wu once was referred to as Nina but now is Selina probably because Cynthia Watros's character is also named Nina (Reeves). Look has been getting more air time recently and has been pretty busy in Port Charles. Selina warned Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about a hit that was put out on him and his fiance and saved their lives. SonnyCorinthos (Maurice Benard) rewarded wu financially and gave her additional mob territory.

Selina later brokered a deal with Sonny that allowed her nephew Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to be paroled and she has also sparred with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) who obviously is unaware of the power she wields. Wu also attempted to have Peter August (Wes Ramsey) murdered but he survived.

Brad, Britt, Sonny, Nina, and Selina will collide

Sonny has been so busy dealing with Nina and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that he has not even discussed with Selina the failed attempt on Peter's life. GH viewers are wondering if the mob princess will keep trying until she gets it right and if Brad will be the instrument of Peter's demise? Spoilers tease that Britt may ask Sonny to have Selina back off of Brad which is a tall order. She loves her bestie and does not want him caught up in the mob which may jeopardize his freedom.

Britt must not realize that people like Selina and Sonny are always one step ahead of things and others usually take the fall for them. Since the hit on Peter went wrong perhaps Wu might feel she owes Sonny but will she comply as she has plans for her nephew? There is also the question of whether Sonny will desire to help Brad? Spoilers tease that Britt might even ask Nina to run interference and ow that Carly has left her husband to the wolves anything is possible.

Selina will not be happy

Last week on General Hospital Brad met with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) despite his aunt demanding to them both that they sever ties. Brad admitted that he served Peter the tray of food that was probably responsible for his being poisoned and acknowledged that he did so on his Aunt Selina's orders. Britt was stunned and said she knew her friend was no killer and Brad replied with something that gave Dr. Westbourne pause.

He said that people who displease his Aunt Selina end up disappearing.If General Hospital viewers are wondering why Wu was not shadowing her nephew it's because Look is out of the country. The actress recently spoke with Soaps in Depth and said she was “thrilled” when her role on the soap began increasing near the end of 2021.

The actress said that she took a break from General Hospital because she always goes to visit her mother in Singapore near the end of each year and added that she would be back. Considering all the manipulations that are going on Ms. Wu will no doubt be back with a vengeance. Spoilers say to watch out because she might hit Port Charles like a fire-breathing Dragon so stay tuned.
