Ridge May Reunite with Brooke and Break Shauna’s Heart

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Shauna Fulton may be in for a not so nice surprise. She is getting her hopes up that she will soon be in a relationship with Ridge Forrester, and told Eric’s son she would be patient and give him some time. Quinn and her good friend were talking in Wednesday's episode about how lucky they both were to be living in the lap of luxury in Eric’s home. Shauna is hoping it’s only a matter of time before Brooke is history and she is the woman in Ridge Forrester’s life. She might want to put on the brakes because “Bridge” are not over yet.

Ridge and Brooke still love each other even though they have problems. If they cannot work out their differences Brooke may move on with someone else and Shauna might end up in Ridge's bed for a season but the "Bridge" connection will not easily be broken. There is lot of fallout still to come from the baby switch that will keep Brooke and Ridge at arm's length. Hope becoming the legal mother of Douglas, and almost killing Thomas will always be sore spots where the couple will never agree. Spoilers say Ridge will give his estranged spouse some type of ultimatum and whether she accepts or not may determine their future.

Shauna may be fantasizing about living the life that Quinn has but the circumstances are completely different. Quinn came along at a time when Eric was not involved with anyone else. Shauna has made it her mission to break up a marriage and even her daughter's disapproval did not matter. Ms. Fulton is living in a fantasy world where she thinks she can be everything to Ridge that Brooke is not. She has no idea of the depth of the decades long history or the strong connection this couple has. Even if "Bridge" divorces, neither Shauna nor any other woman will ever replace Ms. Logan in her husband's heart.

On Friday Ridge told Brooke she was the love of his life and they belonged together as he presented her divorce papers. He said they could still work things out and not have to goo through with it. He emphasized that they should work on the marriage together and asked Brooke to please forgive Thomas. Meanwhile, when Quinn got excited that her stepson was giving his wife divorce papers, Shauna explained that Ridge is hoping Brooke won't sign them. If Ms. Logan refuses to give Thomas a chance and agrees to end her marriage, it will not stop Ridge from loving her so either way Shauna loses. She will have to accept that the man she is falling for, will never love her the way he loves his Logan.

If the Bridge marriage ends, Shauna will always play second fiddle to her daughter's aunt. If Ridge and Brooke reconcile, then she never even had a chance. Even if both Ridge and Brooke move on with others, The Bold and the Beautiful will find a way to bring them back together eventually. This pattern has gone on for decades and more than likely will continue. Anyone that either of them date in between will end up being collateral damage. It would be simple for Brooke to forgive Thomas but she probably will not. The viewers will have to be subjected to the break up to make up saga of "Bridge" yet again.

Quinn and Eric have been coasting along pretty good for a while, so a little tension in the Forrester mansion is long overdue. Perhaps if Ridge does move back home with Brooke, Shauna might go after his dad and she and Quinn will be at odds.
