Genoa Citt might be about to have a knock down drag out cat fight as two characters declare war. Those who watch The Young and the Restless knew the day would come when Sally and Phyllis would face off. Ever since she laid eyes on Ms. Spectra, the reigning redhead in Genoa City has been seeking an opportunity to mark her territory. Spoilers say the two will do battle on Thursday but no details have been given. Nick has tried to hold Phillis back ever since they found out Sally was causing problems for Kyle and Summer.

Phyllis really came out in mama bear mode when she found out Sally was holding Tara Locke over Skyle’s head. She became absolutely unglued when she learned that Jack and Sally are interested in each other. Sally is confident that everything is going her way and that Summer and Kyle won’t interfere in her relationship with Jack. She had no idea that she has met her match in Phyllis or the damage that could be done. Should the truth that Kyle is the father of Tara’s son come to light Phyllis will go after Ms. Spectra with everything she’s got.

Ms. Summers has always had to have a nemesis and someone she is at odds with. At one point it was Victoria when both women were interested in Billy. She later shifted her focus to Abby Newman and the Grand Phoenix Hotel. For a while she was obsessed with Adam Newman and Chance Chancelor even traveling to Los Vegas in an attempt to uncover secrets related to the two men. She was like a dog with a bone who would not let go. For a short time she was focused on Kyle and did not desire him to break her daughter’s heart again.

Now Phyllis is determined to save Jack from Sally and to repay Ms. Spectra for interfering in her daughter’s life. She has spoken to Jack and Lauren about her doubts regarding Sally’s intentions but both of them shut her down. Her desire to protect her daughter is the root of what is motivating this aggression against Sally. Ms. Spectra has a lot more spunk since leaving LA for Genoa City and she is determined to make a name for herself. She has a tenacity that was not displayed while her character was on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Sally has tried to convince Kyle and Summer that she truly cares about Jack and wants everyone to play nice. Dummer even admitted a few days ago that Kyle’s father seems truly happy. Phyllis does not care that Sally is trying to lock the barn door after she has already set a lot of chaos in motion. The arrival of Ashton and Tara Locke in town is what is going to fuel the fire. Spoilers from both Soap Dirt and Celeb Dirty Laundry indicate that the two redheads are going to war with each other. Sally seems pretty new at this based on her character’s behavior while on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Ms. Spectra may try to give as good as she gets but Phyllis is a pro. Their initial encounter on Thursday should be pretty interesting as each woman is determined that things will go her way. This probably will not be the last time the two redheads lock horns but their first encounter will no doubt be pretty intense. Be sure to tune in to The Young and the Restless and find out exactly what will happen between these two high spirited women. Phyllis is a shark and takes no prisoners but Sally is younger and might give her a run for her money. Spoilers tease that this will be must see TV so make sure you tune in.
