GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are tired of false leads related to Nina being busted for keeping Sonny away from his family. For the past month, there have been weekly spoiler alerts as well as scenes on the ABC soap that suggest this tiring storyline is coming to an end. One of them was Anna opening a door to a room in the New York hospital where "Mike" was visiting Lenny. Many fans said they knew Anna would not find Sonny and she did not.

There have been several situations in recent months where it looked like either Joss, Trina, Carly or someone else would going to find out Sonny is alive but they did not. Many viewers said the day before that each of the previews would lead to nothing and they were correct. This has been distressing and fans continue to please with the powers that be to end the misery. Maurice Benard has been giving regular updates via social media in attempts to quiet disgruntled fans. He has said several times that he is enjoying playing Mike because it is so different from his 28 year run as Sonny.

While his character has amnesia, Benard has been interacting with Lenny, Phyllis, Elijah, and Nina. He has not been having scenes with Carly, Jason, Jax, or others in Port Charles that he used to. Bernard said that as an actor he is enjoying stretching himself and not playing Sonny the same way he has for 28 years. He wants the viewers to understand this and be patient but for some their patience is running out, GENERAL HOSPITAL fans want to believe this latest spoiler but are doubting because they have bern burned in the past.

Fans are being teased yet again by the rumor mill indicating that this saga of Sonny/Mike could be almost over. Spoilers say that this coming week Nina will miss her grandson and decide to have a video chat with Wiley. There is a possibility that Mike could be in the background or happen to walk past as Nina is chatting with the boy and he could recognize him. Perhaps the child might only hear and recognize his grandpa Sonny's voice.

The writers could always choose to end this storyline sooner rather than later and it might be Michael, Willow, or Carly who sees Sonny or hears him talking to Nina. This would put Ms. Reeves on the spot and she would have to answer a lot of questions. If indeed Wiley recognizes Sonny he might even shout "grandpa", Even if that happened it still does not indicate that this saga is coming to a close.

Wiley is a child and Nina an adult so naturally, any explanation she gives would be accepted. Should Michael, Willow, or Carly question Nina she could always make up some kind of excuse. Some GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are wondering if Lenny's sickness and impending death will play a part in Sonny returning to Port Charles. There are fans who believe that once Lenny passes away and Mike remembers who he is that he might bring Phyllis back home with him.

There are all kinds of possibilities and those who watch the ABC soap are using their imaginations to try and figure out what happens next. Ratings for the ABC soap have been declining and fans feel it is because of the continuing drama in Mixon Falls. Some who watch the show indicate that they fast forward through scenes with Nina and Sonny because they did not want them to get together. Some viewers are eagerly waiting for Nina to lose all rights to Wiley and that Michael and Willow will kick her to the curb.Be sure to tune in this week and find out if Wiley puts his grandmother in a dangerous situation.
