Summer Newman is getting pressure on all sides on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS but she is trying to stand her ground. Her mother, Kyle, Tara, and Ashland Locke have her head spinning, Soon she will have to deal with both her dad Nick and Sally Spectra in her ear and Summer will end up a ball of nerves.

Nick will suggest that his daughter and Kyle postpone the wedding until some things are settled regarding Harrison Locke. No one knows for certain if Kyle is the boy's father but a DNA test is in the works. Summer will defend Kyle and remind Nick that no one is perfect and everyone has their own personal issues. Nicholas does not want to see his daughter heartbroken again by Jack's son.

There are a few missing puzzle pieces that if Nick had he might be willing to back off of this situation, He knows that Kyle married Summer the first time only to get her to be an organ donor for Lola. Kyle promised to stay in the marriage for one year, but quickly got a divorce and married Lola. Nick does not know that when his daughter returned to Genoa City she toyed with Kyle's affections and also slept with Billy Abbott who was dating her mom Phyllis at the time.

Nick will try to convince Summer to take her time where Kyle is concerned. He will also grill her about her feelings regarding Tara and Harrison living in the Abbot mansion. Summer will say she is not jealous but will admit she is overwhelmed by it all. Nick will next talk to Jack who believes Kyle and Summer must work this out on their own and not have interference from their parents. Nick however will not agree.

Meanwhile, Summer will have another altercation with Sally and blame her for everything that is going on right now. Summer will say that she might not be through slapping Sally which is sure to hit a nerve. Kyle will show up and agree, adding that his father will not be please with Sally's behavior. Kyle will also insist that he will make sure his father is done with Ms. Spectra for good. Kyle will also threaten to tell Lauren and cost Sally her job.

Sally will later meet with Ashland Locke and tell him that they could be mutually beneficial to each other. Spoilers do not say if Sally suggests that the Lockeness monster may not be the father of Harrison. Tara has told her husband that the timing of her affair with Kyle assures her that he could not have been the boy's bio dad but it's not certain if Sally is aware of this or not.

The DNA test is what will determine the direction this storyline is headed and Y&R viewers are hoping that no one tampers with the test. It was not that long ago when Ashley had Jack thinking that he was not an Abbott and loyal fans do not desire to see a similar situation with Kyle and Harrison.

If the pressure continues to mount, Nick may not have to say much more to his daughter. Summer loves Kyle but with Tara and Harrison at the Abbot mansion, it's a bit too close for comfort. Ashland throwing his weight around, Phyllis on the warpath, Nick blaming Kyle and Sally being a loose cannon might prove to be too much. Summer will no doubt hang in there until that DNA test is done but if Harrison belongs to Kyle she might rethink her decision to stand by him.

Should Sally get to Lauren first and tell her about the slap from Summer, both women might be in jeopardy of losing their jobs. Be on the lookout for updates from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and find out where this situation is headed. Ashland Locke will remain in Genoa City through the summer, so the problems will probably increase before things get any better.
