Maxie and Brando connect on 'General Hospital'

General Hospital viewers know that it is only a matter of time before Maxie's life comes crashing down around her. Her baby daddy Peter has many secrets that will break her heart when they come to light. Right now she believes that her life is going to work out just fine and she and Mr. August will raise the three children together. She has no idea that just around the corner is a series of events that will drastically change her life. Maxie will be alone with 3 children to raise as she tries to move on from the train wreck that is headed her way. If the show goes in the direction it seems to be headed, there is a chance that she might find love again. It's looking like, however, that General Hospital may be trying to set her up with someone unlikely.

Last week, Celeb Dirty Laundry revealed that Kirsten Storms had done a shout out to General Hospital costar Johnny Wactor on Instagram. The spoiler suggested that Storms desired to work with Wactor and teased they could be a couple once Peter pays for his crimes. On Tuesday the duo actually did have a chance meeting and spent quite a bit of time on screen getting to know each other. A future romance is a stretch, but not completely out of the question. Maxie was at Brando's garage needing work on her vehicle and ran into Sam. Once Ms. McCall left the garage Maxie grilled the mechanic as only she could.

She asked if he were married, dating, had children, or wanted to be married and have children. She especially desired to know how Brando got Sam's stamp of approval. Maxie was in rare form as she had not been in quite a while. Considering the timing, of how quickly the two had scenes together after the social media post it could be that Kirsten Storms was referring to this episode. She might have been stating that she would enjoy additional scenes with Johnny Wactor. Brando had a difficult time trying to talk with Ms. Jones regarding Dev, who had paid him a visit earlier. It was probably not random that Maxie ended up in Brando's garage and began questioning him.

It's clear the two have chemistry and Brando was amused that Maxie was so forward with him. They will probably meet again but right now, however, she is in love with Peter and pregnant with his child. Even so, a "Braxie" or "Mando" seed has been sown and viewers will be watching. It's not clear if or when Peter August will get his comeuppance, but viewers hope it will be soon. Drew Cain has been presumed dead for quite some time and there needs to be closure. Obrecht is in jail waiting on Robert Scorpio to prove Peter framed her so she can be released. Once Mr. August is exposed as the one who orchestrated Drew's death and framed Liesl, Maxie will be beside herself. Most viewers have assumed that Spinelli would step in to save the day for Maximista.

He and Ellie have moved back to Port Charles although his wife has not shown up on screen. When the facts come to light Maxie might not appreciate Spinelli interfering in her life. She may be angry with him for exposing the truth about her baby daddy and want nothing to do with him for a while. Brando, whom she just met might be the person Maxie turns to because he could be more objective and is not aware of her past. Peter is working with someone off camera who has yet to be revealed. He gave an order over the phone for Drew to be taken care of and did the same to keep Robert busy.

Drew is dead and Robert is running around Europe trying to find Holly, who allegedly is dead. Viewers saw last week that she is being held captive. Peter attempted to kill Andre and Franco, then murdered his own hitman to keep him quiet. There does not seem to be a way that Maxie would stay with him knowing this. She will need all the support she can get and Lulu, Sam, Spinelli, Mac and even Felicia will be needed. Time will tell regarding what is going to happen between Ms. Jones and Mr. Corbin, so stay tuned.
