Laura and Jordan are in the midst of mob activity

Spoilers from Soap Dirt are revealing that life in Port Charles is about to take a turn for the worst. Things had been pretty quiet and Sonny seemed to be focusing on his coffee business but all of that is about to change. Someone is targeting the Corinthos family and Detective Taggert has returned to town at Jordan’s request, mob activity is about to increase and things will escalate to the point where Laura will be shot during a turf war. The big question will be which of Sonny’s enemies is put to get him. Julian Jerome is no longer active in the business so viewers will be watching intently to figure out who is trying to stir things up.

Jordan tried to talk to Jadon last week and find out who may have set Donny’s truck on fire but Stone Cold remained silent. This is probably why she called Taggert back to town but their connection is not yet clear. Spoilers don’t say who shoots Laura or what her condition will be but fans of Genie zGrancis will be elated that she continues to be on the screen. Some time back Laura left town to visit Spencer after he broke his legs skiing. Viewers were upset that the soap vet was off the show for so long unt Frank Valenti promised she would return and have a big storyline.

Since her return to Port Charles, Laura has become mayor, and helped solve the Ryan Chamberlain mystery. She and Curtis stumbled upon Cassandra Pierce hiding on board the Haunted Star and she has been involved with raising Charlotte and helping Lulu deal with Valentin. Now she is attempting to approve things on the waterfront and this is probably what will put her in the line of fire. Jordan just reassured Madame mayor that no charges would be brought against her son Nikolas who just returned to town but now her own life will be in danger. Spoiler alerts also indicate that Michael will try to break up with Sasha so she won’t be targeted during the mob war and that somehow Hlafys will be in the middle of things and become frightened. Perhaps this will cause her to rethink staying in Port Charles once she sees all the danger around Sonny.

In the past Max Gionbetti was always the bodyguard who looked out for the Corinthos famil. Perhaps now is when Milo and his big brother might return to Genos City. Sonny may have to call on all of his allies, including Brick. General Hospital viewers had become tired of the obsessive mob activities and shootouts in Port Charles and expressed their joy when Donny and Julian both went legit. Fans of the ABC drama will not like this turn of events especially when innocent people get hurt. Soaps she knows says that Sonny’s road trip with Mike won’t turn out the way he expects so it’s possible something may happen to frighten Mike as well as Gladys.

Jordan feels helpless because Jason stonewalls her and won’t give any answers. All she wants to do is her job as policr commissioner and keep peace in the city and prevent needless deaths in Port Charles. She knows something is brewing but Taggert may be so caught up in his vendetta against Sonny that he can’t think straight. Depending on his pay relation with Jordan, Taggert may have to deal with Curtis. Spoilers don’t say whether he was a former, lover, colleague or both. Mr. Ashford will be busy looking out for his wife as well as his partner in crime Laura.

It looks like Spencer and Nikolas have arrived home in Port Charles at just the right time, They will be there in Laura’s time of need during her period of recovery. Nothing has been said about a vice major so it’s not clear who will run the city while Mrs. Collins is out of commission. It’s possible that Ned May step back in and take charge if Laura’s injuries are extensive. Perhaps her being shot may have a bright spot and be what brings her son and grandson back together after the issues with Nikolas keeping his being alive a secret. Be on the lookout for updated spoiler alerts and continue watching General Hosputal weekday afternoons on ABC at 2:00 PM EST.
