Max FarrowPublished 6 years ago in GeeksClaws For Thought: Liev Schreiber Pens Love Letter To Wolverine After 'Logan'
Pass the tissues to mop up the blood and the tears, it is time for an emotional farewell as after 17 years we are waving goodbye to Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Over nine films we have bulked and sulked with the clawed Canadian, who bows out of his role with James Mangold's #Logan. The third chapter in the Wolverine spin-offs, Logan saw Mangold pick up the reins after the car crash that was Gavin Hood's X-Men: Origins Wolverine in 2009. While Origins was almost universally panned, it did explore the relationship between #HughJackman's Logan and his half-brother Sabretooth, a.k.a. Victor Creed, played by Liev Schreiber.

With the debut of Spider-Man: Homecoming being as successful—if not more successful than predicted, it shouldn't come as a surprise to hear of all the praise it's receiving. Considering how Homecoming delivered on creating a worthwhile universe for Spider-Man to exist in, while at the same, keeping him closely tied into the current events of the MCU, the positive reviews are a given. The film also seemed to satisfy both long time fans of the comics and casual moviegoers alike with its seemingly perfect introduction for Spider-Man.

Apart from a ride named after the film at Shanghai Disneyland, 2010's Tron: Legacy wasn't exactly the neon-filled finance-spinner that director Joseph Kosinski had expected. As one of #Disney's forgotten franchises, has anyone actually noticed that we haven't had a third #Tron film? Now, seven years later, and with still no sign of a sequel, Kosinski has offered an update on whether we will be going back into the arcade machine, or if we have run out of quarters.
Tom ChapmanPublished 6 years ago in Geeks'R' You Ready: James Mangold Talks About How He Made 'Logan' R-Rated
If it ain't broke don't fix it, but it if it's broke, burn it down and start again. In 2013 James Mangold was set the impossible task of scooping up the charred remains of Weapon-X from Gavin Hood's X-Men Origins: Wolverine and crafting some sort of sequel. Sending #Wolverine on a violent vacation to Japan, Mangold excelled in turning The Wolverine into something of its own entity rather than trying to salvage what was left after Origins. Even though Mangold wasn't happy with the finished product, The Wolverine was a much improved title, so when it came to directing a third chapter in #HughJackman's solo films, Mangold was clearly the right choice.

Lewis JefferiesPublished 6 years ago in GeeksEverything You Need to Know About 'The Disaster Artist'
When one dives into the fascinating world of independent cinema, you're bound to come across some of the most intriguingly odd films and filmmakers out there. However, perhaps none more so than than the 2003 cult classic The Room and it's star, director, writer and producer Tommy Wiseau. Indeed, often labelled as the "Citizen Kane of bad movies" or "the best unintentional comedy ever made", the surreal absurdity of what was presumeably supposed to be a romantic drama has left film fans simultaneously preplexed and captivated over just what was going through Wiseau's mind when he put that thing together.
Art-Peeter RoosvePublished 6 years ago in GeeksLooks Like Another Lord Of The Rings Movie Could Be Made. Will The Shadow Of Mordor Game Be The Focus Of Its Plot?
When the Lord of the Rings movies first debuted in theaters, no one ever expected them to become as popular as they are today. The sequels and recent Hobbit trilogy are proof of how fans just can't get enough. Otherwise, why would Warner Bros. and Peter Jackson invest so much time and money into the franchise? The studio understands how profitable the Lord of the Rings franchise is, and is most likely the reason behind their legal disputes over the property.
