'Frozen II' Review—Inferior, but Likable Sequel
If you're a parent of a young child, I sincerely feel sorry for you, wish you godspeed as you listen to the same soundtrack for the next few weeks, and hope you retain your sanity as you watch this movie fourteen times.
Jonathan SimPublished 4 years ago in Geeks5 Underappreciated Cartoons II
I love cartoons; always have and likely always will. Before you ask, no, I'm not too old for cartoons; you can never be too old for cartoons. With that in mind, I did a list of 5 Underappreciated Cartoons about a month or so ago and it was great fun.
Greg SeebregtsPublished 4 years ago in GeeksBreakfast at Sweethearts
I arrived in a clap of thunder and knew immediately that this was not going to be an ordinary Mardi Gras. I opted out of staying with friends in Sydney because I felt I needed to open my stay up to new experiences. ‘Let 2017 inspire you’ my mantra for the year. I booked into Central Hostel (hotels had inflated their rates over Mardi Gras to a ridiculous prices like $900 a night) and upon arrival immediately unpacked. Sydney was in full Mardi Gras mode, rainbow banners lining the streets and arcades. I felt like the prodigal son returning home for the first time in years, slightly wounded from my experiences in Melbourne but stronger for every bullet hole. I had arranged series of appointments and catch ups with old friends, watching the parade, and a meeting with Hayes Theatre about the possibility of bringing Audrey Hepburn and I Consider Our Assets up to Sydney. Audrey being my pet musical theatre project. A nine year journey, a project that saw me through tough times including 18 months of therapy.
Noel AndersonPublished 4 years ago in GeeksThe Royal Ballet's 'Coppélia' Review
Isn’t it wonderful to leave the ballet with a smile rather than a tear-streaked face (thank you for that, Manon)? If your answer is yes, spend this Christmas watching the Royal Ballet tackle an old-favourite. Coppélia makes a welcome return to the Royal Opera House stage after a 13-year absence.
Kadeem HoseinPublished 4 years ago in GeeksDaniel Goddard May Return to 'The Young and the Restless'
The Young and the Restless has left and open door for both Colin Atkinson and his son Cane Ashby to return to Genoa City. For now, however, one man is as he said it, "On the lam" and the other is out to clear his name. Soaps She Knows indicates that Devon will be searching for Colin, so even though Tristan Rogers has no more current scenes, the saga of Katherine's will continues. On the episode that aired Thursday, Colin phoned Chance and happily told the federal agent that he was free and about to catch a plane. Mr. Atkinson had been apprehended by the authorities while in the Maldives but he says he escaped because his handcuffs were never locked.

I was not prepared for this one. Reading the breif synopsis on Amazon intrigued me, but, my god, was it inadequate. Joe (Joaquin Phoenix), plays a combat veteran that now lives a life as a hired gunman. His missions are to find missing girls that are being used as a means to satisfy the desires of sexual deviants. While he is not on an assignment, Joe stays at home tending to his elderly mother (Judith Roberts), who is fading from this world both mentally and physically.
Michael GrubePublished 4 years ago in GeeksDisney+ and Netflix Make the Perfect Combination
I wrote an article earlier that was too harsh towards Disney+ and I want to make things right with this article. At first, I couldn't get over the technical flaws of Disney+. It's not that it's terrible, I just expected better from Disney. Now that I have been watching Disney+ all weekend long I change my mind and 100% recommend getting this streaming service! Disney+ even has a 'Continue Watching' feature now. Which I really appreciate. You might want to get Disney+ soon, while it's still cheap. There is no way that Disney will keep the subscription at this price for long.
Watching 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' as an Adult
Warning: This post will contain spoilers. So recently I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender for the first time since I was a child because I saw that it was on Netflix and I didn't have anything else to watch. Of course I remember loving it as a kid, but I didn't really remember any thing of substance. Well except of course the intro: "Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished." Of course, I remembered the main plot points such as how it ends and that Zuko is my favorite character, but other than that my mind was blank.

Trevor WellsPublished 4 years ago in GeeksSurvivor: Island of the Idols Episode 10
Wow, what an amazing episode of Survivor tonight! First off, nice blindsides. Aaron & Missy are now gone. They were too big threats so it was interesting to see them go. But also, now Elizabeth has to fight for her life. So, that'll be a challenge all on her own. Especially since after that, when Tommy & Lauren were reunited, they agreed on taking her out. But then Dean swooped in to see to that not happening. Dean's fear was that all of the "goats" in the game would team up and take out the strong players if Elizabeth went home. It made sense, but Tommy was still adamant on getting Elizabeth out. She voted him; he wants her gone.

Patton knew he was making progress when it came to not being easily distracted. He knew that focus was important. He just wished he worked on his other weak areas, too. He was driving to the store with the intention of getting some groceries. However, he noticed that there was a smaller car behind him and switched lanes to give the car room. The driver moved lanes as well and stalked Patton to the point of running him off the road and making him hit a tree.
