A Filmmaker's Guide to 30 Things You Should Know About "Gaslight" (1944)
One of my personal favourite films of all time was released on this day in 1944. The psycho-drama "Gaslight" (1944) starring Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman with Angela Lansbury's acting debut was released on this day 76 years' ago (as of 2020). I have loved this movie for a very long time because I really think Bergman's performance is something extreme. It is possibly one of her greatest performances of all time and, in my opinion, one of the greatest performances of any actress ever. If this film were to be remade then I think that Marion Cotillard would be brilliant as Bergman's character because it is just so psychotic and over-the-top. It is a crazy difficult role to play and I can see that Bergman played the character amazingly. I was in awe and still am over the greatness of the performance.
Annie KapurPublished 4 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "The Dead Don't Die"
The Dead Don't Die came quietly to theaters in 2019. I didn't hear anything about this movie before watching it. I just noticed it was a zombie comedy that starred Bill Murray and Adam Driver. It was available for streaming so I thought, how bad could it be? So I took the plunge and ended up a little confused at the end.

1) Miss Stevens (2016) This independent film features stars such as Lily Rabe, one of the baddest queens from the American Horror Story series, who plays the lovely Miss Stevens herself. Another cameo is Timothee Chalamet, also known as every girl's crush, who is known for his role in the 2017 movie Call Me By Your Name. Chalamet plays a troubled teen named Billy (whose last name was not given), alongside with Riverdale's Lili Reinhart, who plays conceited Margot (whose last name was also not given or heard in the movie.) Last but not least is the openly-gay Sam, played by Youtuber, Anthony Quintal.

After my first year of college studying for a mixed arts degree, I was stressed, tired, and even more confused about the direction I wanted to go in life. I loved English and writing - which was the reason I started the degree in the first place - but having to write made it almost impossible. I sat my exams, passed, and deferred my place for the following year. But that’s a story for another day.
