Jim and Pam: The Best Tv Couple
I have watched "The Office" more than twice. I have to say that Jim and Pam are one of my favorite love stories that ever took place on television. In the earlier seasons, they were just friends and then became best friends who got married and had a family. That was the dream for me for a long time, to fall in love with one of your best friends. They are a couple that supports one another and brings out the best in each other. They are as you would say "#couplegoals".
Bye, Felicia
Stoner comedy film, Friday, came out in theaters in 1995. Brought in a total of 28.2 million dollars. The movie instantly became a hit due to the chemistry of the two best friends who starred in this popular film.
Jasper WolfPublished 4 years ago in GeeksA General Guide on Writing Fantasy Fiction
Collette Jackson-Fink is a keen enthusiast of literature. She has been writing short stories, poems, and screenplays since she was 13 years old, but it was only in 2013 that she decided to write and publish her first ever novel entitled Daughters of Twilight, a fantasy fiction book with a mix of action and science fiction. Its story revolves around the little city of Waterloo, Iowa where a mysterious ‘black tower’ suddenly appears after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake has hit. This black tower then creates curiosity and chaos inside and outside the city, which is even made worse by the appearance of an oddly beautiful creature who claims to have been casted down from the Garden of Eden.
Georgia WilsonPublished 4 years ago in Geeks4 Funny British Shows to Watch Amidst the Chaos in the World Right Now.
While the world has been going through changes like a pubescent teenage boy in middle school, I have taken the time to rewatch some of my favorite British shows to lighten the mood.
Review of 'These Feathered Flames'
These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Overy is such an imaginative novel. As a retelling of the Russian folktale “The Firebird,” the novel has much fire to it, pun intended. The reader does not have to be familiar with the original folktale in order to appreciate this story.
Cyn's WorkshopPublished 4 years ago in GeeksFire Over Acadia
I am a volunteer book reviewer for Olympia Publishers based in London, England. Reading novels from British authors is an opportunity for me to share books from other countries. It is fun reading these books to see how they write for I am and do have British relatives across the pond. The first British novel that I have read for Olympia Publishers is 'Fire Over Acadia' and there will be more. I will also, hopefully, be offering more book reviews from the online company that I also review for presently.
Mark GrahamPublished 4 years ago in Geeks‘General Hospital’ Sasha might go off the deep end over Michael and Willow
Before General Hospital went on hiatus in March, Sasha Gilmore was dealing with angst over her decision to trick Michael Corinthos into thinking that she and Chase were having an affair. She and Willow's boyfriend thought they should sacrifice their relationships in the best interest of little Wiley. They believed that if Willow and Michael married, this would ensure that Nelle would not have access to the little boy. Sasha had come to Port Charles because Valentin rigged a DNA test to make it appear as though she were Nina’s daughter. She repented of that mistake only to become involved in another deception of her own making, Spoiler alerts suggest this scheme may come back to bite her in a bigger way than the previous scam.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 4 years ago in Geeks'Greenleaf' conflicting stories on why the series is ending
Greenleaf fans have been devastated by the news that their favorite show is ending after this season. Now another blow has been dealt. Viewers are trying to come to grips with the conflicting information regarding why the series is ending after season 5. Creator Craig Wright has said in interviews that he and executive producer Oprah Winfrey had always planned to end the show after the fifth season. He said the reason is that they wanted to go out on top and did not desire any characters to wear out their welcome. Now, something different is being stated and enquiring minds desire to know what is really going on.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 4 years ago in Geeks‘Yes, God, Yes’ is a Thoughtful and Often Hilarious Interrogation of Blind Faith
I grew up in a Catholic household, went to Catholic high school, and went to church every Sunday. So yes, Catholic guilt is coursing through my body every waking moment. Seriously, the amount of guilt I randomly feel while tending to everyday tasks probably isn’t okay, but that’s a conversation for another time (preferably a time when a therapist is around.) Needless to say, upon seeing Natalia Dyer’s Alice struggle with the most inoffensive of curiosities in Yes, God, Yes, I immediately felt a kinship with her.
MovieBabblePublished 4 years ago in GeeksThe Scalpel and The Sword
As mentioned in a previous post I am now reviewing novels from British authors writing for Olympia Publishers. The next review is a novel entitled 'The Scalpel and The Sword' written by R. John Thorpe. 'The Scalpel and The Sword' is a novel about a character by the name of John and his growing up and off to school and the military and how his life always seemed to revolve around home and England. John has many decisions to make that will affect his living through all his days and the experiences he has lived and will be living through. This is a novel that is like a world tour from England to Africa to Asia and back to England. The time period is during the periods of many wars of the English empire of the 17th century.
Mark GrahamPublished 4 years ago in GeeksWhy Dory and Marlin are the ultimate Iconic Duo
I don't think anyone could have imagined that a blue tang fish named Dory, and a clownfish named Marlin, would go onto become the most iconic Duo of all time, but that's precisely what they are. Bear with me, and I'll explain why, let us start at the beginning.
Marvel's Phase Four Plans
The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has ended the so called "Phase Three" with the biggest villain so far, the mad titan "Thanos", putting an end to the "infinity saga". Many characters arcs came to an end, such as Iron Man (for giving up his life to save the UNIVERSE), Captain America (spending the rest of his life with Peggy Carter and then passing his legacy to the Falcon), Black Widow (dying in order to get the soul stone).
