Five Paul Bettany Performances You Need To See Before 'Wandavision'
Paul Bettany probably has one of the most interesting MCU history of any of his fellow Marvel actors. After spending four films as the voice of Tony Stark's ever present A.I, J.A.R.V.I.S, Bettany initially thought he was about to be fired before he was offered the chance to play The Vision in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
Kristy AndersonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksAn Obsessed viewer
A s you know, The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. I personally never read the comic books series, although I do have a few friends that are obsessed with collecting them.
Debra OwensPublished 3 years ago in GeeksThings I'm Passionate About Part 9
This is part 9 of the things I’m passionate about series of articles. A further look into my tortured mind. 1. Movies I am a massive movie buff. It feels like I’ve seen everything, or that I’m the Rainman for movie trivia. Having spent most of my life alone it kind of makes sense I suppose, that when not studying relentlessly, I’d amuse myself with escapism. Movies being one of the chief methods. They’ve inspired me, influenced my decisions about life, schooling, and careers, they’ve even swayed my decisions regarding some parenting issues here and there I’m sure. For writing about movies, I’d like to write reviews of old and recently released movies, pre-views and my thoughts and speculations on upcoming movies, and for a more personal touch I’d like to write about how they’ve influenced my life. I’d also like to profile favorite actors and the characters they’ve portrayed and maybe how they have also impacted me. All in the hopes of inspiring other people to maybe experience some of the amazing films I’ve seen or to share their own experiences whether they agree with me or not.
Brent SalmonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksHallmark Review: 'My Best Friend's Bouquet'
As her friends know all too well, Josie Hughes (Chaley Rose) is a hopeless romantic who believes her true love will come to her just like in the movies. She's also a firm believer in the wedding tradition of throwing the bouquet: whoever catches it is destined to be the next to marry. So with her friend Emma (Luisa d'Oliveira) soon to be married and her other friend Athena (Rebecca Olson) having just learned her boyfriend Brian (Casey Manderson) is planning to propose, it seems obvious to Josie what destiny has in store for this bouquet toss.
Trevor WellsPublished 3 years ago in GeeksI Really Liked This Show
*THIS PIECE MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR NETFLIX'S THE QUEENS GAMBIT & HBO'S LOVECRAFT COUNTRY* The trailer for Netflix's new show "The Queens Gambit" seemed interesting enough, A girl becomes a chess legend amidst a life of turmoil, drug abuse, and social challenges. As with pretty much all of Netflix's catalogue the cinematography, costuming, and casting seemed really well done. The story set in the 50s and 60s looked surprisingly like a biographical film although it turns out to be an entire work of fiction.

Steven LeitmanPublished 3 years ago in GeeksThe American Dream
A Propagandized Society Influenced by Industrial Capitalism Miller’s play “Death of a Salesman” has the reputation of the Great American Play of the 20th century. Miller goes into depth about a family so concerned with achieving the American Dream that it leads to their downfall. The American Dream is the idea that any American regardless of their socioeconomic status is given the equal opportunity to rise in social status and achieve wealth. This dream helped in raising morale until the economic downfall during the early 1900’s. Using the correlation between this dream and the influence of the Great depression Miller’s play effectively describes the effects capitalism has had on the economic factors, and lifestyles of American’s controlled by a propagandized society for greed and money. Miller has a strong influence based opinion on socialism and how the Great Depression had a drastic effect on the lifestyle of many American’s.
Mary ODonnellPublished 3 years ago in GeeksPop Wars
The Pop Wars were an embarrassing time in social media history. Every style of pop culture took it upon themselves to prove who was the trendiest. From minor fads to the dominant idols of America, the internet had become a bloody landscape of overly competitive communication. New modes of interrelations between people were being lost in the reposts and reactions numbing the sophistication of human interaction. Anybody paying attention to the true contributions of these movements were less impressed and more concerned with the direction it was taking society. It was getting nasty because the toxic atmosphere of people joking about anything using popular ideas fostered an attitude of anonymous quarrels. Screen names symbolized their preference of trope. The judgment came down hard on any who failed to consistently live up to their clever pseudonym which became their identity more than their real persona. This was a major point of contention.

"It's another scam." American streaming giant Netflilx made a monumental mark and caused a cultural reset when they decided to enter into the Nigerian market as Netflix Naija. Since then, they have acquired and distributed a slew of Nigerian movies and television shows. Blockbusters from Oloture to The Wedding Party to huge series such as Castle & Castle more.
Jide OkonjoPublished 3 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "Hustlers"
Hustlers came out in 2019 and I think people overlooked this movie because of the wrong reasons. It looks like a run of the mill crime movie about stripper. In a way it is but if you watch the movie, you'll realize there are layers to this crime movie that you wouldn't really think about. Even crazier is that this movie was loosely based off a true story.
