If you are a fan of "Carlson" on General Hospital then you are in for a treat. The week of June 15-20 the ABC daytime drama will air an entire week of episodes that are dedicated to the history of Sonny, (Maurice Bernard) and and Carly (Laura Wright). Each of the classic programs are part of the show’s themed collections that were made available in 2018 and 2019 on ABC’s website as well as the app. Sonny and Carly are probably the most popular couple in Genoa City outside of Jason and Sam. They have had many ups and downs and have married each other four times. Viewers who enjoy seeing this duo will really enjoy what is coming.Following is a preview of the episodes that viewers will be watching.

On Monday, June 15 Sonny and Carly re-declare their love for one another during the hostage crisis that took place at the Metro Court. Longtime viewers will recall that Jerry Jax was the culprit who caused all the problems. The original air date for this episode was February 7, 2007. On Tuesday, June 16, viewers will go back down memory lane to September 13, 2017. This is when Sonny stops taking his meds and begins to spiral out of control. It is Carly who convinces him to start taking the lithium again and prevents a full mental breakdown.

Mike, Michael, Joss, Sonny, Carly, and Jason

Wednesday, June 17, revisits a more violent episode where Sonny has been shot by Paul Hornsby. He is in critical condition and Carly is in the hospital chapel, thinking about the highs and lows of their relationship. She even pulls out the wedding vows Sonny wrote and reads them. This program originally aired on September 14, 2015. On Thursday, June 18, viewers will see the show that first aired on October 14, 2015. This is when Sonny and Carly get married in the hospital chapel. The week ends with Carly's grief at the death of her son is in full swing. On Friday the episode shown will be from October 12, 2016 when Carly blames Sonny for what happened to Morgan.

There is more drama ahead for the Corinthos family as they await the judges decision as to who will raise their grandson Wiley. Sonny will also need Carly to deal with the death of his father. Mike, who has Alzheimer's disease had stopped eating during the last original episodes. He was last shown laying in his bed with his mouth open and tears falling from his eyes. Liz told Jason that Mike is waiting for Sonny to give him permission to die and this will really take a tole on the family. "Carlson" will also be busy with teenagers Dev and Joss, as well as baby Donna so there is much in their immediate future.

Jason and Sam

There has been no official confirmation but spoilers tease that during the week of June 22-26, there will be re-runs that are part of the GH collection dedicated to Jason, (Steve Burton and Sam ( Kelly Monaco). This collection, was originally released on ABC’s website as well as the app in 2018. It was the first of three collections the network had compiled for the soap. In addition to the collections related to Sonny and Carly and Jason and Sam, General Hospital also has one dedicated to the Nurses Ball.

If you are wondering when Genera Hospital will resume taping, it may be only in a few weeks. According to Soap Dirt, network execs and unions have agreed to start filming again in mid June but the final decisions rests in the hands of Los Angeles mayor Gavin Newsome. A few weeks ago Newsome said he wanted all of Hollywood to be back in action but viewers should expect some changes. Actors over age 65 may not be able to return to work right away and those that do must keep hand sanitizer with them at all time. Crew members must wear masks, and both cast and crew will be subjected to random cornavirus tests. Stay tuned for updates and breaking news as it becomes available.
