Jordan may have ulterior motives where Faith is concerned on 'The Young and the Restless'

Fans of The Young and the Restless are expressing concern about the direction that Faith Newman seems to be headed. She has a new older friend named Jordan who is pushing her in all the wrong directions. This BFF has Faith lying to her parents and hanging out at parties where they would not want her to be. Faith was even wearing a provocative outfit that Nick and Sharon would not approve of. She is being cyberbullied because of the story Billy published about Adam kidnapping her. Jordan pretends to be a friend, but some viewers think she could be behind all the mischief. Perhaps this older girl is jealous of the life Faith lives because she is a Newman. Whatever her ulterior motives, most Y&R viewers believe that she is up to no good.

There are various theories on social media as to what Jordan could be up to, She might lure Faith into drinking, drugs, and or sex, or cause her to become suicidal or even be raped. Viewers agree that things will become worse for Ms. Newman before they get better. Spoilers are not giving any hint of what comes next but Jordan simply looks like trouble and she probably is. Many viewers have enjoyed Alyvia Lin growing up on The Young and the Restless as Faith and do not desire to see her character go down a wrong path. The last young people on the show were Reed Helstrom and the Ashby twins but they did not get into any serious trouble.

Faith has so much drama from her various family members that it's no wonder she is enamored of Jordan. Her father and mother go back and forth reuniting and then dating their previous spouses. Sharon has been with Victor Newman and both of his sons. Nick continues to hook up with Phyllis who is the mother of Faith's half sister Summer. Mariah is her half sister because they both share Sharon as a mom. Her Aunt, Nick's sister Victoria is the one who encouraged Billy to write the article where he told the world how Adam kidnapped faith when she was a child.

Jordan is portrayed by actress Madison Thompson who some might recognize from The Ozarks. Nothing detailed about this character's agenda with Faith has been revealed. Anyone who has watched recent crime shows on television know that teenagers today are doing some pretty dark things to their so called friends. They set up fake social media accounts and allow young girls, or boys to believe they are conversing with a potential love interest only to expose the hoax and shame them at a later date. Young people today stand on dark roads waiting strangers to pick them up that they met online.

Faith is a target because of her family's prominence in Genoa City. The story Billy wrote exposing Adam is simply the icing on the cake. Alyvia Lin is an ecellent actress who portrayed a young Dolly Parton in two television movies. Her fans understand that her character must grow and have trials, but do not want to see the sweetheart of the Newman clan become damaged goods. Hopefully the writers will keep this in mind but Faith has endured her share of challenges at such a young age. Her grandfather was once her mother's husband and her uncle Adam was at one time her almost stepdad. She had reservations about but eventually gave Dillion Macavoy a chance and he ran out on her mom to live in witness protection.

Faith watched Sharon dump Nick at the altar because she found out he had slept with Phyllis and her grandfather Victor faked his own death and allowed Faith to grieve him for no reason. Now she is being confronted with the dark side of uncle Adam who continues to carry a torch for her mother. Earlier spoilers suggested Shaddam would get back together but Faith's situation makes this more complicated. These are but a few of the things this teen has had to endure and now she is vulnerable to an older girl. Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates to this storyline because they are sure to come.
