Jill and Lily want to help Devon find Colin

According to spoiler alerts from Soaps She Knows, two fan favorites will soon return to Genoa City. Jill Atkinson and Lily Ashby will both be on hand in the new year to help Devon deal with his devastating loss. Those who watch The Young and the Restless have been expressing on social media that they think this is a ridiculous storyline. It does not make sense to many fans, that Colin could pull off such an elaborate hoax as stealing Kathetine’s billions. Devotees of the CBS daytime drama want this over and done immediately. The main reason for the anger is that Katherine Chancellor’s legacy should never have fallen into the hands of a crook like Colin Atkinson.

Spoilers say Jill will be in town long enough to advise Devon on searching for her estranged husband. She will also keep a watchful eye on Billy and Chance. Right now, Phillip Chancellor IV seems like his head is in the right direction but he does have Phyllis breathing down his neck. She is determined to pump him for information that will help her in her attempt to blackmail Adam. Billy on the other hand is in serious trouble and needs all the assistance he can get.

William Abbott is falling down the rabbit hole into past behaviors and so far has been hiding it all. He quit his job at Jabot, began gambling again, is talking to himself and listening to his dark side alter ego. Billy is also positioning himself to end up having an affair with Amanda Sinclair. Spoilers don’t say how Jill will try to help her son or whether or not she succeed Viewers know she will do everything she can to get him back on the right track.

Jill returned just before the holidays and she had a chat with Chance and later Devon, but she did not spend any time with Billy. Perhaps Jess Walton will soon return just as her son begins spiraling out of control. She may also show up in Genoa City when Colin is finally caught. Last week Chance told Devon he would be able to spend more time on the case now that he is in the private sector. Perhaps this means that things are about to come to a head.

No details have been given regarding Lily’s storyline but she basically has only one family member left in Genoa City. Neil is dead, the twins are away at college and she and Cain have divorced. Their home has been sold so her only option is to hang out with Devon. She may give him as much assistance as she can regarding trying to reclaim his inheritance. Christel Khalil is scheduled to return to The Young nd the Restless the week of January 6th. It’s not known how long either Lily if Jill will stick around. but fans will be thrilled to see them both.

Jill is now distraught that she advised Devon to sign away his inheritance and even more disturbed that Colin was behind it all. She will no doubt be angry that her ner do well estranged spouse also got her into his bed before he made off with Katherine’s fortune. There has been no updates regadjng how all of this will turn out but most Y&R viewers want Devon to get his money back. Cane is searching for his father so it’s possible he will give both Jill and Lily updates on his progress or lack thereof.

Many viewers were hoping Devon would get a Christmas miracle but that did not happen. Instead he carried his burden from 3019 right into the Nee Year. Be sure to continue watching the CBS daytime drama weekday afternoons at 12:30 PM EST. Be on the lookout for updated spoiler alerts related to Devon’s situation to find out if he gets his miracle or if all is lost. Y&R episodes were running two days behind because of preemptions. They are now back on track thanks to a show on Nrw Year’s Day and not airing a scheduled episode that was a tribute to Kristoff St. John.
