Friday's episode of General Hospital will bring some unexpected developments. Everyone has been bracing for a mob war that will be started by Cyrus but there will be two incidents of bloodshed that are not set into motion by Renault. In Nixon Falls, a man with a gun was standing around the barn dance and he is about to claim a victim. In Pentonville, a prisoner will find himself on the way to the hospital.

Jasper Jax made his way to Nixon Falls and is desperately trying to get Nina to talk to him. She is still furious and does not want anything to do with him. On Friday the unknown gunman will pull the trigger and Jax will be shot in the arm according to spoilers. Some viewers are wondering if Sonny/Mike might have been the intended victim. There are a lot of unanswered questions in Nixon Falls and fans desire answers, who is Elijah and why do he and Sonny/Mike rub each other the wrong way? Could he be behind the shooter?

Meanwhile back in Port Charles, Jason will be stabbed by his new cellmate on Carly's orders. Who could have imagined a day when Carly Corinthos would be running the business and both Jason and Sonny would be out of commission? Where did Carly get the authority to make things happen is a question on the minds of General Hospital viewers because she had never been in charge before.

Sawn Butler was placed in the same cell as Jason on Thursday and they were talking about Cyrus Renault when Shawn pulled out a knife. Previews for Friday show Jason laying bleeding on the floor. He will be taken to the hospital and spoilers say that Carly is working on breaking him out of prison. This is pretty extreme and it does not look as if Jason was aware of what his best friend is up to. Everyone knows that Carly does not make the best decisions when she is under pressure so things will begin to be pretty tense. She must be really desperate to risk Jason getting hurt so who knows what she will be up to next.

No one knows what Cyrus is going to do now that he has his mother back but Carly is bracing for an all-out mob war. Spoilers tease that Renault's new sister might have just found his weak spot and will use it to keep him in line. After talking to Martin, Laura will realize that what their oldest sibling really wants is a relationship with his new sister. Laura will force herself to spend time with her big brother in the hopes that he remains distracted and will not cause more damage in Port Charles. If Laura can soften her sibling's heart perhaps he might not desire to cause problems for Sonny's family.

If Jax is shot in the shoulder then it probably will only be a flesh wound. Will it be enough however to change Nina's mind about how she feels towards him. She will probably do everything she can to see that he goes back to Port Charles. On Thursday she slipped and said that he had ruined everything but he had no idea what she really meant. Nina is playing with fire by allowing herself to develop feelings for Mike because eventually, he will recall that he is Sonny Corinthos.

Be sure to watch General Hospital each Weekday afternoon on ABC. Things are heating up in Port Charles as we head towards May Sweeps so anything is possible. Fans of Maurice Bernard want Sonny home ASAP and don’t desire a relationship with Mike and Nina. Some viewers want Lenny and Phyllis to move to Port Charles or see Sonny reward them when he gets his memory back. On Social media there are GH fans who believe Carly will have a breakdown., She’s trying to care for her family, run Sonny’s business, look out for Jason and now Jax has been shot.
