Rademacher and Burton

General Hospital viewers should brace themselves in the event the latest spoilers are accurate. The rumor mill is suggesting that two fan favorites, Ingo Rademacher and Steve Burton may be fired from the daytime drama because they refuse to be vaccinated for COVID. It is being reported that ABC executives are putting rules in place to ensure the safety of everyone on the set. and those who don't comply will get the ax. It had been stated some time back that Burton had been infected by the Coronavirus so it's not clear why he would object to the vaccine. Rademacher has been outspoken on the subject so fans know his position on the matter.

COVID vaccines continue to be controversial and tempers can flare regarding this subject. On-screen. Jason and Jax both could be easily written out at this point based on their current storylines. Both characters have left Port Charles before but this time there may be no coming back. Jax recently saw to it that Nina and Sonny returned from Nixon Falls and he is not involved in any other storylines or romantic relationships. His daughter Joss is an adult now and does not need her dad in her life aas she used too. . Jax has no other family in town and there is no chance for a reconcilliation wth Nina. The storyline might have already been heading in a direction forJax that suggests his time is up.

General Hospital has written Rademacher"s character into corners before and written Jason could get killed by Peter August which would cause Britta and Obrecht much guilt. If Jason dies while trying to save Liesl and her daughter then Carly would blame them forever. Spoilers suggest that there may be other GH cast members who will also be fired for noncompliance but only the actors who portray Jason and Jax were mentioned.

Earlier this year Rademaker spoke out against the COVID vaccine and revealed that his children did not receive childhood vaccinations. This led to an outcry from a number of General Hospital fans who called for the actor to be fired. Some believed it was only a matter of time before Ingo would be off the ABC soap. Brason fans would be livid if Burton were let go because Jason and Britt never got their chance at happiness. Viewers are a bit more invsted in Jason than Jaxx because of the Quartermain connectionand the dynamic with Sonny and Carly.bGH fans will be stunned to lose either character.

Rademacher joined the GH cast as Jax in 1996 and in 2011 was placed on recurring status. He portrayed Thorne Forrster on the CBS soap The Bold and the Beauiful for one year then returned to GH on contract in 2019. Burton stepped into the role of Jason in 1991 and quickly become a fan favorite over the years. The actor briefly stepped away from the role to portray Dillon Macavoy on The Young and the Restless but returned in 2017. Burton had said he was leaving acting to spend time with his family bu5 instead went from GH to Y&R and bavk to GH again.

ABC has the right to look out for the safety of their employees but not everyone is going to do so If these policies are put into affect throughout the entertainment industry there may be alot of actors who will lose their jobs. Be on the lookout for updates and breakng news to this story because they are sure to come. Please keep in mind that these are only rumorss at this pount and nothing has been substantiated.
