GENERAL HOSPITAL fans who are rooting for Brason are expressing concern on social media about the future of the couple because of Britt's health. In Canada, a doctor confirmed that Dr. Westbourne has the genetic marker for Huntington's disease for which there is no cure. The ABC soap more than likely will not have a miracle cure because there is none in real time. This puts Kelly Thiebaud's character between a rock and a hard place. The only options are to kill her off, quickly or over a period of time, or find out her diagnosis was wrong.

Viewers are wondering if Britt will begin a relationship with Jason only to succumb to the deadly illness shortly after? There were a few spoilers last month suggesting that Thiebaud was about to leave the ABC daytime drama but her followers hope this is not true. Britt has been transforming and those who watch the sop are enjoying this kinder, gentler side and seeing that she is crushing on Jason. Britta was beaming as she admitted to her mother that she and Jason had made love.

Spoilers for GENERAL HOSPITAL are now suggesting that Obrecht's daughter might get a reprieve from her diagnosis thanks to Dr. Austin. Not much is known about the man who delivered Maxie's baby or what field of medicine is his specialty. Perhaps he is a gynecologist which means that he would not know anything about Dr. Westbourne's condition. Spoiler alerts, however, are suggesting that the new doctor might be exactly what Britt needs. He may offer her another test or more extensive lab work which comes back negative. If this is the case then Jason and Britt might have a chance for a true romance.

Details regarding Dr. Austin have not yet been provided so this is all speculation. GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are waiting to see how things progress with Brason now that they no longer are on the run. Carly has softened her stance regarding Britt but will she approve of the relationship or not? Jason and Britt have so much potential but there is no way at this time to figure out how much time they have. If Carly even gives a simple nodd to the duo this will go a long way with Jason and also those who are hoping he and Britt will become a super couple.

It's no coincidence that Austin showed up at this particular time and fans desire more detail about him. If he is an OBGYN as some suspect then he will not be of any assistance to Dr. Westbourne. If he specializes in a specific area of medicine then he might end up finding out that Britt is not going to die of Huntington's disease. Some viewers believe that he will be a new love interst for Maxie but at this point the storyline not indeicating much about this situation at all. There is a lot that GENERAL HOSPITAL needs to reveal regarding Roger Howarth's new character and fans are eager to find out all about this new character.

At some point, it is believed that Austin will be hired to work at GENERAL HOSPITAL and at that time his line of specialty should be made known. Only time will tell if he will be the man to give Britt Westbourne a new lease on life. Even so, spoilers continue to suggest that Dr. Austin, Jason, and Britt will have their worlds collide in Port Charles. be on the lookout for spoilers, updates and breaking news regarding what happens next with Austin and Brason.
