Can Sloan Petersen be redeemed?

Days of Our Lives fans are asking on social media if the redemption of Sloan Peterson ( Jessia Serfaty) is around the corner. Her brother Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) is about to be revealed as the culprit who has been stalking Paulina Price (Jackie' Harry). Newman's time on the soap is up so it's only a matter of time before things in Salem get back to normal.

Paulina has been dragging the name of her nemesis through the mud and DOOL viewers say they cringe every time she says "That Sloan Peterson". If she does the right thing the mayor's wife will make a public apology because she was wrong. Rafe Hernandez and Abe Carver both insisted they did not have evidence to prove that Sloan was guilty but Paulina continued to tell anyone who would listen that she knew Sloan was guilty.

How will Nicole's pregnancy affect Sloan and Eric?

The only person who remained in the lawyer's corner was Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) but the two will not live happily ever after at least not yet. A new wrinkle has been added to the storyline that will take effect after Colin is long gone. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) is pregnant and does not know if Eric or EJ DiMera (Dan Figueroa) is the father. On Thursday Sloan found Nicole's prenatal vitamins and at first she lied she was going through menopause. She finally admitted the truth but was sworn to secrecy. Nicole pointed out that Eric does not need to know unless the baby turns out to be his.

There is a history of baby switches and changing DNA tests where Nicole is concerned and Days of Our Lives fans are hoping this will not be the case this time. If Sloan does not do anything to falsely make EJ the father then perhaps the character can be redeemed. No one in Salem really cares for her but this could change once Colin and his accomplice Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevellian) get what's coming to them. Until Thursday it was Talia who was getting her hands dirty by putting chemicals in Chanel Dupree's ( Raven Bowens) biscuits. Rightfully she should be charged because although she was influenced by Colin she made the choice to help him.

Will Paulina humble herself and offer an apology?

Sloan is far from a saint and has done her share of dirt but she was innocent of the recent crimes. It will be interesting to watch DOOL and see if the lawyer becomes a model citizen or continues the way she has always been. It will hurt Paulina deeply to have to apologize and she and Chanel will have to eat crow for defending Talia. Whatever happens next with Ms. Petersen her life will be filled with anxiety as she waits for the results of Nicole's DNA test to find out if Eric is the baby daddy. Sloan could be walking right out of a fire and into a frying pan in this situation.

Days of Our Lives viewers know that Nicole and Eric have unresolved emotions for one another and although they were under the influence of drugs it only brought out how they really feel about each other. Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates related to what happens next with Sloan, Nicole, Eric, and EJ as well as Talia. Is Sloan capable of true change or is it a lost cause? Will the Days writers attempt to redeem her or allow her to remain the town pariah? Be sure to tune in on weekdays to DOOL on Peacock to watch this drama unfold.
