GH fans want Curtis tarred and feathered

One thing soap fans, in general, agree on is that if a character is married he or she should not commit adultery. This is why Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is not very popular right now. `Although things did not go any further than a lip lock with his ex-wife Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) Curtis wanted it to. He has been living apart from his wife Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) ever since their wedding night when he found out that Trina Robinson (Tabyanna Ali) might be his daughter and Curtis and Jordan were in the Savoy talking intimately when they kissed.

Curtis immediately told Jordan they should take things elsewhere meaning he was ready to commit adultery but she put the brakes. Jordan told her ex-husband he needed to be sure of which woman he really wanted to be with her or Portia and he agreed. Now Curtis has moved back home and his wife thinks he really wants their marriage to work and he has not told her about the smooth with his ex. Jordan confided in her good friend Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about the kiss but Anna will keep the secret. Curtis might at some point believe he must confess to his wife and this will be a shock to her.

Portia wants to build a foundation that's on shaky ground

Portia is hoping that she and Curtis and Trina can be one big blended family with Marcus Tagget (Real' Andrews), Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), Stella Henry (Vernie Watson), and TJ Ashford (Taj Bellow) but it may never happen. It's possible GH might be setting Portia up to have her heart broken and her dreams dashed,

On Wednesday the DNA results revealed that Taggert is not Trina's dad and he was devasted but she told Curtis she was not looking for him as a substitute daddy. Now that the baby daddy saga is finally over all the other pieces of the puzzle will begin to fall into place and Portia's life might fall apart just when she believes everything is going to work out.

Curtis kissed Jordan in the heat of the moment but they both acknowledged there is chemistry between them. He wants to figure out if he loves her or Portia and Dr. Robinson has no idea she might be being played. With all of his talk about honesty Curtis is lying to his wife and this is what is infuriating General Hospital viewers. Perhaps he will decide that his place is in the home he and Portia purchased together and everything will work out in time. Right now he is sleeping in the guest room and this could be the first sign of trouble.

Is there hope for Curtis and Portia?

While he is sleeping apart from his wife Curtis might begin reliving his kiss with Jordan. Spoilers say Commissioner Ashford will be hurt that Curtis moved back home so quickly but she is the one who told him to be certain of who he wanted to spend his life with. What if Curtis is not head over heels in love with Portia and he begins resenting her because of the years he missed when he could have formed a bond with Trina as her biological dad? Instead of bringing them closer the news that Trina is his child could cause the distance between Portia and Curtis to grow.

General Hospital fans know that nothing remains secret in Port Charles so Portia will eventually find out about the kiss. She will be angry that Jordan disrespected her but even more alarmed that her husband still has feelings for his former spouse. Be on the lookout for updates to this new wrinkle in the lives of the Ashfords and continue watching General Hospital to find out how this will all turn out.
