Alyssa and Summer could soon be MIA

Spoiler alerts for The Young and the Restless are suggesting that two actresses might soon be off of the CBS daytime drama. Soap Dirt indicates that a reliable source has revealed that Hunter King is heading to prime time and this might limit her time in Genoa City. The popular soap vet did a pilot for an ABC series entitled Prospect that has not yet aired. If she were taping at CBS she could easily go back and forth between shows, but ABC studio's are not close to those of CBS. King has expressed excitement and appreciation at this opportunity but it could conflict with her portrayal as Summer.

Once before Hunter King left Y&R while working on another project. The storyline indicated that her character was doing business for Newman Enterprises in another country. Kyle and Summer are front and center right now and have just declared their love for each other and are secretly engaged. Skyle fans are happy to see the duo together and expecting a wedding and possibly a baby down the road. This would not be a good time for King's character to exit Genoa City, but everything depends on the success or failure of her new series.

If Prospect is a success, King would be taping at two different studio's which could be a conflict. The Young and the Restless could always recast Summer as they once did, but viewers love Hunter King in the role as she and Michael Mealor have such great chemistry. There are ways this situation can be handled, depending on whether it is long or short term. The powers that be could simply show Kyle, Phyllis, and Nick in storylines without Summer and have them talk about her or talk with her on the phone as if she is still around until King returns.

Summer could be said to be sent away on Jabot business or perhaps she will choose to leave town because she and Kyle break up, but that's not likely. Should Prospect takes off there naturally would have to be a recast. Things could work out, however, and Hunter King is able to do both shows. Nothing is written in stone yet and these are only projections. Soap Dirt also is revealing that during the week of September 21-25 Alyssa Montalvo will end up missing in Genoa City. The spoiler says that Victor will be the likely suspect but there could be others as well.

Chelsea is back in her con game mode and viewers know anything is possible. She played Theo like a fiddle and he had no idea. On Thursday, Chelsea was flirting with and trying to get information from an unsuspecting Theo. Billy walked in, to his office just as she was hiding a bug. Earlier spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry said that Billy will catch on to what Ms. Lawson is up to and get the better of her. Ms. Lawson might become so desperate that she will panic and get rid of Adam's childhood friend. Spoilers suggesting that Victor will do away with Alyssa does not mean that he will.

Billy could find the bug, realize what is going on, then feed Chelsea the wrong information. Perhaps Adam himself might do something to get Alyssa out of the way. Although he was a child and killed AJ Montalvo in self-defense to protect his mother, he knew what he was doing when he protected Chance. Has Adam now crossed over to his dark side and willing to take another life or will Chelsea cause Alyssa to disappear in order to protect her husband? She told Adam on Wednesday that his enemies were her enemies and the way she was playing Theo sh0ows that the old Chelsea Lawson is back.
