General Hospital: The truth may soon be revealed

General Hospital viewers have been waiting for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to come clean to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about his love affair with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in Nixon Falls. The storyline, however, continues to take twists and turns so that things never work out as it looks like they will. Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) moved back to Australia without saying a word to Carly about her husband and Nina falling in love.

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) knows the truth but her focus is now on Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and the threat he may pose to her family, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) has remained silent because she does not believe this is her story to tell. Now Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is threatening to tell Carly that Nina was making out with her husband. Spoilers say Peter will be taken away to prison before he can say anything and a new threat will arise in Willow Tate (Katelyn McMullin).

Peter August taunts Nina

On Friday Carly walked up just as Nina was engaged in a tense conversation with Peter at General Hospital and she will want answers. Nina will lie that she is angry because Peter is scum and has hurt so many people. She will run to warn Sonny who is with Brando Corbin (.Johnny Wactor). The duo will go into the hospital chapel for privacy and not see Willow who is there to pray for Sasha Gilmore ( Sophia Mattsson) and Brando's baby.

Willow Tate will have the ball in her corner

Spoilers say Willow will hear more of the conversation than she wishes she had and will listen as Sonny says he must tell Carly soon about what happened in Nixon Falls. Willow will also hear Nina reply that she will never regret the love she shared with Mike as it was the purest she’s ever known. Willow will be in shock but it's not clear what she will do. She knows that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duel) is becoming more ruthless and unpredictable and may not desire to anger him further.

She could try talking to Nina to find out the facts or even ask Sonny about what she overheard. What is not likely is that Willow will go to Carly but eventually, Mrs. Corinthos will find out. If Ms. Tate remains silent there is always a chance that Peter might cause problems from jail. Hopefully, he will not blackmail Nina into somehow securing his freedom so that he can go on the run.

General Hospital: Sonny is in deep

Too many people in Port Charles know the truth so Sonny's soon should have been yesterday. Carly continues to hear bits and pieces of conversations and has been noticing her husband behaving in a manner that she does not recognize. Each time Sonny has tried to bring up the issue he has been interrupted or sidetracked but perhaps now he will do what is right. It may come a bit late and cost him his relationship with his wife.

General Hospital fans are still overwhelmingly against Sonny and Nina being together but Carly's actions are causing a few to change their minds. No one sees this as a great love story but only the outcome of a bad situation that had a lot of fallout. Some viewers are hoping Nina will eventually get a backbone and stop looking so sad and defeated all the time. She has been through one deceptive situation after another beginning with when her mother stole her baby while she was in a coma. Perhaps when all of this is behind her she can regain her composure and find true love. In the meantime, viewers may have to suffer through a romance with Sonny if things continue in the direction they seem headed.
