Spoilers from Soap Dirt suggested that Brooke Lynn Quartermaine might show up on General Hospital around Christmas to announce she is pregnant with Valentin Cassadine’s baby. Celebrity Cheat Sheat stated that Amanda Setton’s episodes would begin airing in January but neither prediction has come to pass. A bio of the actress on Wikepedia indicates she will return to GH some time this year, but offers no date. It’s now mid February and there has been no sign of Ned’s daughter in Port Charles.

The character was last seen leaving the Q mansion with a pregnancy test shortly after her one night with Valentin. If she does show up, ELQ will find there have been a lot of changes in Port Charles that she may not know about. Her grandmother Tracy is on the run from the police for lying that Alexis was driving drunk, and her dad and his wife Olivia are estranged because Ned cheated with Alexis. Nina turned out to be the mother of Nelle who slashed BLQ’s throat and as Wiley’s grandmother Nina will eventually be coming around to visit her grandson.

Willow and Michael have annulled their marriage and Julian Jerome is dead. General Hosputal viewers should recall that Brooke Lynn was one of several people who knew Julian was aware of the baby switch and tried to kill Brad. If the fact that BLQ did not tell the truth to her uncle Sonny, this may send a lot of annomoy her way. This revelation might remain hidden as no one yet knows that Obrecht is the one who delivered Nelle’s baby. Britt Westbourne also knew the truth because she t seems like the writers are letting it all slide, at least for now.

One issue that has not been dealt with is the fate of ELQ. There has not been one issue with Valentin or anyone else in the office of the company that Edward Quartermaine founded. No one from the Q family even seems remotely interested in gaining control of the family legacy again. If indeed Brooke Lynn is carrying Valentin’s baby this will cause quite a stir. If Mr. Cassadine had any ideas of trying to get Nina back, a baby with ELQ will halt his plans. Valentin will be a doting daddy but his one night with BLQ Will more than likely have other repercussions.

General Hosputal has not explored the possibility of who Valentin’s biological father is. Valentin believed Stavros Cassadine was his father and Helen his stepmother. It turned out that Helena is his mother and she never told him who his real father was. BLQ might want to know the family connections of her unborn child so this storyline might pick up again. Viewers are hoping there is another battle for ELQ and that it ends up in the hands of the Quartermaine’s again. Right now General Hospital seems focused on Sonny’ s amnesia and Nina’s reaction to finding out Nelle was her daughter.

By the time Amanda Setton’s character returns to Port Charles perhaps the writers will be focused on some of the storylines that have been dropped by the wayside. BLQ showing up to the Q mansion with a baby bump will add more drama to the dysfunctional family. For some fans it is the chaos within thr Quartermaine home that keeps things interesting. Be on the lookout for updates and breaking news related to Amanda Setton’s return to General Hospital. Kept your eyes open for spoilers that reveal what is coming next in Port Charles. There has been no word on whether Setton gave birth to a boy or a girl so stay tuned.
