Franco and Julian may be history

A trusted leaker for General Hospital is revealing some startling information that viewers may not want to hear. It’s being reported by spoiler alerts that two fan favorites might soon be leaving the ABC daytime drama. Soap Dirt is stating that Roger Howarth currently is in contract negotiations and it is not certain whether he will re-sign for another three years. It seems that William deVry is voicing to anyone who will listen, that his character, Julian Jerome may be gone from Port Charles by the summer. No reason was given for why deVry feels this way but he obviously is sending something.

At one point Julian seemed to be getting his life back together and Julexis fans were hopeful but things have now gone south. First there was the relationship with Kim Nero which viewers never really warmed up to. Next was the distance placed between the former mob boss, his baby mama and his children. Julian Jerome behind a bar at Charlie’s never seemed real and it looked as if the writers did not know what to do with the character. It came across as if Mr. Jerome was vbeing sidelined and hidden in plain sight.

Perhaps the current storyline seems to be pushing Julian into a corner from which he cannot see his way out. Soap Dirt admits that this could all be speculation, but both men are fan favorites and viewers will miss them. Julexis fans have been waiting for three years to see the steamy love scenes when their favorite couple reunites. It was thought by some that once Kim was out of the picture this would happen, but instead, Julian has gone back to the dark side. He is keeping the secret that Wiley is Michael's son Noah and he tampered with the brakes on Brad's car, causing the crash that put Lucas in a coma. Should these truth's be revealed, his family will be done with him.

Sam is barely talking to her father and Lucas cut him off again just before the car crash. Alexis seems to be trying to move on with Neil, but they really don't have any chemistry. Julian, Brad, and Obreht will all be in hot water soon because Nelle is out of prison and wants her son back. It's not clear why the writers do not want to redeem Julian and keep him on the straight and narrow, but General Hospital viewers love William deVry and will miss him if his character goes to jail, is murdered, or leaves Port Charles.

Fans of the CBS daytime drama will have to sit tight and see how all of this plays out with Julian. The same is true in regard to Roger Howarth. His character Franco just got his memory back and is trying to get his life together with Liz and her children. If Howarth does not renew his contract, General Hospital can always recast the roll. Fans enjoy these popular characters but at the end of the day it is the writers and actors who have the final say so.

General Hospital fans will be watching and waiting intently and on the lookout for spoilers to update this news. Soap Dirt insists they information came from a reliable set insider but also acknowledge that at this time it is still a rumor. Best of luck to William deVry and Roger Howsryh however this turns out for them. Loyal fans will no doubt desire both men to remain on the ABC daytime drama. Be sure to tune in weekday afternoons at 2:00 PM EST to find out what happens next with Franco Baldwin and Julian Jerome and what their ultimate fate will be.
