'General Hospital' spoiler suggests Ava may get the upper hand over Carly

Chaos is breaking out in every corner of Port Charles and there is not one resident who is not currently being affected. Spoilers from Soap Dirt are now teasing a scenario where Sonny's wife and baby mama might have some issues in his absence. General Hospital is obviously gearing up for February sweeps ad it looks like viewers may be on the edge of their seats. Right now Carly Corinthos is trying to find her missing husband as well as keep Cyrus Renault at bay. She recently made a move that puts both Laura and Jason in jeopardy but Carly has always been impetuous but her latest stunt is really over the top.

`Laura shared with her the information about Cyrus and Martin's mother and Carly had the woman kidnapped. Florence Martin is now in the care of Bobbi Spencer but Cyrus and Martin are raging. Laura and Jason are taking the blame for Carly's actions but if Soap Dirt is correct, karma will soon pay her back. Viewers know that Carly took Avery's necklace by pretending it needed a clasp. I don't believe there was ever a scene where she gave the child her jewelry back but if she has it could spell trouble. Spoilers say that Ava might recognize the locket half because she knows Nina's story. After talking with her daughter she might put all the pieces together.

Now that Sonny is out of the way Soap Dirt suggests that Ms. Jerome could make a bold move. She might try to talk to Carly about more time with her little girl or even obtaining full temporary custody. Carly is not going to want to hear that and will no doubt say something that pushes Ava over the edge. On Tuesday, she lashed out at Nina regarding giving vise to Joslyn, all the while knowing she is hiding that Nelle was Nina's daughter. This storyline has gone on for a long time and viewers desire to see it put to rest. Soap Dirt gives a plausible plot although there is no way to know if this is indeed what will happen but it sounds exactly like what Avery's mom and stepmom would do.

The scenario is that Ava will attempt to blackmail Carly into giving her custody of Avery, at least until a determination has been made about Sonny. Carly will balk at the idea and there will be a battle between these two strong women. Jax has convinced Nina to stop searching for her daughter but on Tuesday Valentin told her to keep looking. Nina is going to find herself in a tug of war with her own mind as well as the counsel of her ex-husband and her new lover. At some point, the truth will be revealed and both Jax and Carly will be in the dog house. After all the condescending remarks Mrs.Corinthos has made to Nina, she has the nerve to be hiding the identity of her child.

When Nina realized Jax sided with Carly this will be a devastating blow. If indeed Ava finds out and uses the information as leverage, this will be the third betrayal. None of the three have the right to play God with Nina's life but that would be exactly what they are doing. There has been no indication as to when Maurice Bernard will return to General Hospital and the longer his character Sonny is gone, the more bizarre Carly will behave in order to keep the peace. She is making enemies of Cyrus and Martin and now possible Ava and Nina.

Whether Avery has her necklace or Carly is hiding it from her, General Hospital viewers know that this piece of jewelry will eventually surface. If Ava figures it all out, or someone else puts 2 and 2 together, this situation will obtain closure. The projected storyline from Soap Dirt could play out just as the spoiler suggests or things could go down in a different manner. It matters not who is going to be the bearer of the news because the ending result will remain the same. Jax and Carly betrayed Nina's trust and made decisions about her life without consulting her. For this they will pay dearly.
