General Hospital: Selina Wu is the woman with all the answers

Curtis and Selina seal the deal

Soap Hub recently asked General Hospital fans to take a survey regarding whether or not Curtis Ashford ( Donnell Turner) should allow Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to host gambling in the back room of his club The Savoy. Over 2000 individuals gave their two cents with interesting results. The survey revealed that 80% of those who responded ( about 1600) said it was a bad idea for Ashford to do business with Wu.

On Friday, Curtis decided he needed Selina’s help and the duo shook hands and sealed the deal. In exchange for allowing Wu to use his business for poker games, and agreeing there would be no drugs involved, Curtis asked for something specific in return.

He wants Selina to obtain the sealed records on his father Marshall Ashford ( Robert Gossett) in order to find out what his dad is hiding. Wu said she would do her best and will probably succeed. If so, Curtis might find he has opened a can of worms in dealing with the mob boss and delving into his father's past..

Selina's influence is growing in Port Charles

Selina seems to be rising in power in Port Charles but not everything she touches has worked out as she promised. Wu was supposed to murder Peter August (Wes Ramsey) in exchange for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) not retaliating against her nephew Brad now that he is out of prison.

Her attempt failed although Peter is now deceased and it seems Sonny has forgotten as he and Selina have formed a new alliance. Wu is making her presence known in Port Charles and General Hospital fans are loving her. It also appears the writers are giving this powerful woman a backstory, as her influence increases.

Selina takes charge in Port Charles

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had been refusing to steer Brad in the direction of working for his aunt and was showing no fear of the lady mobster. Wu is now demanding that Britt do her bidding and holding a secret over her head. Selina says she knows what Britt and Cesar Faison were up to when they were on the run together. The look on her face let GH fans know that Dr. Westbourne does not desire her secrets revealed.

In addition to holding Britt’s past over her head, Wu showed up at the party to celebrate Deception going public. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Sasha Gilmore (Sophia Matthison), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) were stunned to find that Wu owns stock in the company. She seems to be attempting to broaden her assets in Port Charles and is making people nervous. When Nina saw Wu wit Curtis de knew something was up and wants her friend to confide in her.

General Hospital has surprises in store

Gambling at the Savoy and investing in Deception will increase Nina’s profits. Having Britt under her thumb will practically guarantee that Brad will join his aunt in her mob business. Giving Curtis the info he needs on his dad will ensure the gambling goes on for now..What secrets will be revealed about Marshall and will try out is family in danger.

What could Britt have been doing while on the run with Faison that is so bad she would decide to betray Brad? Wu warned Sonny that trouble is coming from the West Coast and spoilers teased this could possibly be Jennifer Smith but she was just arrested for killing Luke and having the Ice Princess in her possession.
