'General Hospital' rumor mill suggests Laura Wright might be leaving

The rumors regarding Laura Wright began even before Wes Ramsey departed GENERAL HOSPITAL. Fans were curious as to whether or not the popular actress would remain on the ABC soap or follow her boyfriend of 4 years out the door. Now, spoilers are discussing the possibility of Wright's exit but at this point it is only speculation and nothing may come of it. Even so, this is big news and social media is buzzing about the possibility.

Laura Wright is a professional and certainly understands the ups and downs of the entertainment industry. It does not seem likely that she would end a 20 year run with GENERAL HOSPITAL just because her bpyfriend's character was killed off, but you never know.

In May Laura Wright spoke to TV INSIDER regarding her 30 years in the entertainment industry, 20 of which have been as Carly on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Wright indicated that she loved what she does for a living and is in awe of how her life is going. Fans were hoping that Ramsey might stick around but the writers did to him the same thing they did to William deVry who portrayed Julian Jerome. They back the character into a corner and had him commit crimes so henious that there was no possible chance of redemption.

Carly Corinthos is a popular character who is almost always involved in a front burner storyline. Right now she is the mob boss and contemplating sharing or turning over her power to Jason Morgan. On Thursday it was revealed that a shipment had disappeared and the duo were going to have Brick access the situation, In addition to the rumors that Luar Wright might be leaving GENERAL HOSPITAL there were spoilers regarding her character that never came to pass.

It was reported that Carly and Jax would get back together but the two are now further apart than ever. Jax hates that his former wife stepped up to run Sonny's business. There was talk that Jason and Carly might become frineds with benefits as they grieved Sonny and GENERAL HOSPITAL fans became furious at the notion. Jason went on the road with Britt Westbourne and it looks as if they are going to become an item. The last Carly rumor was that she would marry a mob boss and this one could still play out.

A new character Vincetn Novak is about to be revealed on GENERAL HOSPITAL and in addition Cameron Matheson will soon make his debut in Port Charles. Many fans believe these two are one and the same and the rumor mill suggests that Carly might marry him to save her family. It would be intresting if just sa Carly marries the crime boss, her husband Sonny returns to town.

Just like those who watch the ABC daytime soap, Laura Wright could see the handwriting on the wall where Peter August is concerned. On Twitter the actress indicated on June 17 that she is having fun on GENERAL HOSPITAL. The only thing fans came do is take her at her word until further notice. Viewers must also keep in mind that should Wright leave the show she has called home for 2 decades, it might never be addressed in public.
