General Hospital recap: Victor seems to have doublecrossed Scott

Victor Cassadinel. has never been a long-term character on General Hospital. He recently showed up being portrayed by the dashing Charles Shaunessey and viewers are loving to hate him. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) recently secured Victor's release from jail on the condition that he reveal the location of Liesl Obrecht (Kathlene Gati). Victor, however, walked out of his cell and never looked back at Scott so it appears that Baldwin has been doublecrossed.

General Hospital Spoilers: Peter August will be dealt with and Jason is out

Victor's motives are still unclear because Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has taken over and now has Obrecht, Britt Westbourne, (Kelly Thiebaud), Drew Cain (Cameron Matthison, and Jason Morgan (Steve Bruton) all at his disposal on Cassadine Island. Peter told one of his operatives that he is about to leave his current location and Jason is not coming. This has fans wondering if Steve Burton's character will be killed or presumed missing again since Burton has filmed his last scenes.

Once Peter is apprehended or killed and his captives are recovering back in Port Charles what reason will there be for Victor to stick around. Nikolas is his nephew and each of them kept the fact that the other was alive a secret. he claims that Valentin is his son but will the duo attempt to have any type of relationship with one another? Victor, like Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Shelia Carter (Kimberlin Brown) on the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful is best handled in small doses.

General Hospital: Fans want Sciesl back together

Sciesl fans are anxious for their favorite couple to be reunited, Liesel is in love with Scott and will hate Victor for putting her in such a dangerous situation. Scott loves Obrecht will be livid to think a Cassadine got the better of him and will probably try to find a way to get Victor back in jail. Viewers cannot wait to see the "Schnitzel" and the "Liepchen" reunite. Once Wes Ramsey's character is no longer around there does not seem to be much of a reason for Valentin's dad to stay in Port Charles.

General Hospital: the writers may have plans for Victor

General Hospital viewers do need to keep in mind that the writers may have plans for Victor that have not yet come to light. He has yet to meet his great-nephew Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) who used his name when he first returned to Port Charles to hide his identity. Victor also has not met his granddaughters but perhaps he will not be allowed anywhere near them.

The current Cassadine patriarch will need somewhere to live and he might call upon Nikolas which would outrage his wife. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is worried that Victor will be seeking favors from his nephew and pull her husband into a lot of trouble. She will not desire this uncle to live under the same roof with her. There are all kinds of possibilities for the direction of this character and GH fans cannot wait until Liesl gets her hands on this "Swine." She will tear him limb from limb because of his separating her from her beloved Scott and placing her and Britt in the hands of Peter.

It's also not clear if Victor has any claim on Wyndemere now that he is officially alive so viewers will have to watch this situation unfold. One thing that is certain is that this Cassadine will probably not be on screen long term because viewers can only take so much of the bad guys. Be on the lookout for spoilers, updates, and breaking news related to Victor on General Hospital.
