Jax oversteps boundaries

On General Hospital, Jasper Jax and Carly Corinthos have a complicated history. Jax has never respected the fact that Carly chose Sonny and uses every chance he gets to get in the mob boss's face. Jax caused problems when he and Carly hid the fact that Nikolas was alive and well in Port Charles. Sonny was lived and told his wife to not keep any more secrets. In recent weeks, although he is dating Nina, Jax keeps turning up in Carly's world. He was with her at the police station and went with her to the cabin where Michael found Nelle.

Carly ran out after her grandson's mother and they got into a fight. Nelle hit Carly in the face and knocked her down. Nelle continued running until she fell over the cliff. She cried for help and Carly hesitated then tried to pull her up but Nelle fell. Jax showed up and expressed doubts about Carly's story and told her the police would not believe her. The history between the two women has been volatile Jax told Carly to only admit that she chased after Nelle and that they fought and Ms. Hayes got away.

Now Carly has another secret with Jax and will not heed Sonny's warning. If Nelle somehow survived she will be back and accuse her sister of attempted murder. Valerie is suspicious and began grilling Carly as Jax sat nearby. One way or another this is going to escalate and when Sonny finds out the war will be on. Viewers will remember that when Cyrus first posed a threat, that Jax told Carly to bring babyDonna and live with him. It's clear that Jasper still loves the mother of his child and it's looking like they may be headed for a reunion.

Carly is impetuous and slept with Jax before because Nelle made it look like she and Sonny had gone to bed together. Mike is dying and if Carly cheats this would add insult to injury to all her husband is dealing with. The Corinthos clan had all been getting along and supporting each other and Wiley being returned should be a big celebration. With Nelle missing and Carly and Jax having another secret this will set in motion more drama even as Sonny and Jason are trying to take down Cyrus and work with Jordan and Taggert.

The writers never allow Sonny and his wife to stay together but so long and many viewers don't like it. Some have expressed on social media that they prefer to see Joslyn's parents back together. To be fair, Sonny and Jason are keeping quiet about Taggert being alive, and working with Jordan but that's business. Carly and Jax is very personal and she knows that he and Sonny cannot stand each other and are always trying to get the best of each other. They called a truce a while back for the sake of the children but when Sonny finds out about the secret, that might all end.

Sonny is also worried about Brook Lynn who may have damaged her vocal cords when she told Michael about the tracker that led him to Wiley. It would be a shame if Ned's daughter can never sing again but she will have to wait to find out. Uncle Sonny is very protective of her so he has his hands full right now. General Hospital fans are elated that the new episodes have been so exciting but they want the saga of Nelle to be over. The issue of her being Nina's daughter has to be resolved so she will resurface at some point. Stay tuned weekday afternoons to find out what happens next and be on the lookout for spoilers and breaking news about the Port Charles residents.
