'General Hospital' fans was Hayden Barnes to return

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are hoping a recent scenario might indicate that fan favorite Hayden Barnes might be coming back to the ABC soap. Spoilers have teased a big return and fans are considering that it might be Dr. Finn's former fiancee. It's already been reported that Kimberly McCullough, Kristina Wagoner, and Jackie Zeman will return to Port Charles on May 21 and Roger Howarth will soon be back in Port Charles as a different character. There have not been many clues given so the mystery person could be just about anyone.

Thursday's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL now has viewers wondering if Hayden Barnes might be the big surprise return and soon be on hand in Port Charles. On Thursday, Nikolas showed up at Pentonville to announce to his aunt Alexis that he had purchased the prison. Alexis discussed the perils of privately owned prisons and Nikolas assured her he would be on top of things. His goal is to do everything he can to keep her safe and this is pretty extreme.

After he left, Sean Butler told his ex girlfriend that if he went free he would want to find the bastards that really shot Hayden. Sean was aiming at Julian Jerome until Sonny called off the hit which was in retaliation for Jer0me having Duke Lavery murdered. Julian had tried to stop Carlos Rivera from killing Duke but he reached him too late and Duke died. Nikolas put out a hit on Hayden who was his wife at the time and this fact has been shoved under the rug. When she came back to Port Charles a few years ago she did not even mention the fact that Sean was in jail for shooting her when he did not do it.

GENERAL HOSPITAL fans became excited when Alexis went to Pentonville and ran into her ex. They thought perhaps two could things would come from this. Viewers were pondering the possibility that Sean and Alexis might get back together as well as desiring the truth to come out about who really shot Hayden. If Alexis helps Sean she would unwittingly be opening up a can of worms where Nikolas who is trying to keep her safe would be arrested for attempted murder. GENERAL HOSPITAL fans never got to see the trigger man but know he is out there somewhere.

Social media is buzzing with the sentiment that Hayden might come back to Port Charles to reclaim her daughter and also to see that Sean is set free.Nikolas has tried to turn his life around since marrying Ava and it would be a shame to have everything disrupted right now. There is also a possibility that Cyrus will somehow find out what his nephew did and retaliate by blackmailing him. Viewers know that he will be livid to find out that the Cassadine heir now owns Pentonville prison. This will have Renault searching diligently seeking a way to keep the prince in line.

There has been no news regarding Rebecca Budig or her GENERAL HOSPITAL character but viewers agree that little Violet has been separated from her mother for too long.
