Sydney Mikayla portrays Trina Robinson

Sydney Mikayla portrays Trina Robinson, the best friend of Josslyn Jax on General Hospital. If she looks familiar to fans of ABC’s one remaining daytime drama it’s because she stared in the made for television movie The Gaby Douglas Story. The character of Trina has been Joslyn’s friend for a while and Robinson took over the role several years ago, but no one knows anything about her family background. Recently, Miss Robinson mentioned having her DNA tested as did Stella Henry. Curtis and TJ’s auntie said she had a close relative in Port Charles but ended up spending time with a different new family member in London.

General Hospital viewers are now asking questions in social media forums and want to know Trina’s back story. It’s possible she could be related to Stella but the question is how? Stella assured Curtis and Jordan that she did not have a child she gave up for adoption. This leaves other options to ponder if the two are indeed blood kin. Perhaps Curtis had a child that he is not aware of or Stella had a sibling who gave birth and Trina is the grandchild. Other suggest from fans are that somehow Stella and or Trina are related to the Corinthos family. Mike is married to Yvonne so he may have had a past relationship that produced a love child.

It would be nice to see Trina’s parents instead of her being a lone teenage girl making adult decisions. Miss Robinson got a job working for Ava Jerome even though she is only about 16. There was no mention of asking a parent’s permission. Trina hangs out with Joss, Cam, and Dev but no one has ever seen where she lives. The teen had a crush on Dev and even kissed him but he let her down gently. She seems to be dealing with everything alone, while Joss, Cam, and Dev all have a wonderful adult support system.

It would be nice to see Trina have some family roots in Port Charles and a connection to the Henry/Ashford family would be great. If she turns out to be related to Mike and Sonny or another clan in the city it would all be good. There is nothing in upcoming spoilers about Trina or Stella but some viewers recall that Ms. Henry was supposed to have a close relation in Pory Charles and not in London. The storyline seems to have been dropped for now the same way the storyline with Shawn Butler was shut down without closure.

General Hospital viewers have no idea if Trina is an only child or has siblings. Does she live with both biological parents, just one or other relatives? It’s time for this young lady to have a real life since it looks like she will be around for a while. Trina Robinson’s picture is in the opening credits so she obviously is a keeper. At some point the friendship with the four teens will experience friction because Trina likes Dev who has crush on Joslyn. Cam had been in love with Miss Jax but stepped back when Oscar became ill. Since then Cameron Weber has shown no signs of trying to move forward with his feelings.

Right now on General Hospital there is a lot of drama with the adults surrounding these teens. Carly is hiding from Sonny that Nikolas is alive and living with Jax. Liz is in limbo waiting to see what happens after Franco has the surgery. They all will be dealing with the aftermath of the accident that killed Kendra and possibly Brad. Spoilers have not indicated the fate of Lucas but he now knows Wiley is really Michael’s son Noah. Trina, Josdlyn, Dev and Cameron will all be affected by the fallout from these chain of events as well as trying to navigate their own lives. Be sure to tune in each weekday afternoon on ABC at 2:00 PM to find out what Sydney Mikayla’s character and her friends will be getting into next.
