GH fans are crying Spencer come home

May sweeps is over and spoilers were wrong about a Spencer Cassadine return on GENERAL HOSPITAL. There will be a rerun on Monday, May 31 due to the holiday, and previews for the next week do not mention the young Cassadine prince returning to Wyndamere. The rumor mill has suggested that a recast would be coming so that the character would be older and have a darker personality. Some fans believed it was Spencer who was sending the creepy gifts to his stepmom Ava but that storyline seems to have been dropped for now.

Nikolas and his wife are involved with trying to take down Cyrus Renault. Last week Ava was a decoy for Gladys Corbin and her spouse showed up and almost got them killed. This would be an ideal time for Spencer to come home because the possibilities are endless. Some GENERAL HOSPITAL fans want Emma Drake to come back to Port Charles and be a love interest for Spencer. Others believe that there could be a love triangle between Joss, Cameron, and the young prince.

Nikolas Bechtel is growing up fast

Some spoilers suggested that Spencer might join forces with his evil great uncle Cyrus but it looks like things might be winding down for Renault. He was shot last week and now is hiding in the home of Dr. Robinson. He will no doubt force Portia to remove the bullet and Trina could even be his hostage as spoilers said she would soon be in danger. GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are hoping that Cyrus will soon be dealt with because he is taking over the show just like Shiloh once did.

An older darker Spencer recast might be in order but some fans say that Nikolas Bechtel is up for the job. The teen has aged, is taller, and his voice much deeper than when he was first portraying this character. Bechtel fans are holding out hope that he might return to his role but he has said nothing on social media about it. GENERAL HOSPITAL could have given him a gag order where he is not allowed to mention that he will return. One thing that is certain is that Spencer Cassadine should indeed come home because his grandmother Laura certainly could use his presence. She has her hands full with Cyrus and the crime spree in Port Charles but always welcomes her grandson.

Spencer could cause trouble for Nikolas and Ava

June is here and there has been no mention of the annual GENERAL HOSPITAL nurses ball. It usually is in May but last year due to COVID was not held until June. If there is a gala this year perhaps thats when Spencer in one form or another might make an appearance. Nikolas and Ava have been like teenagers in love even risking their lives for one another. It's probably about time that the honeymoon subsides and some real drama comes into their lives.

So far they are sticking by each other and last week Carly rolled her eyes at their display of love. Laura is pleased but no one knows how Spencer will feel until he comes on the scene. Speculation and rumors will continue until there is some credible news related to the teenage prince. GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers should also keep in mind that at times trusted sources and leakers have proven to be wrong. Hopefully, there will be some facts coming forward regarding whether or not Spencer Cassadine will once again be a part of life in Port Charles. Fans are saying that a recast is welcome but Nicolas Bechtel is still preferred.
