'General Hospital' fans stunned at the actions of Maxie, Finn, and Elizabeth

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are discussing two stunning events that took place last week, the alleged deaths of Chloe Jenkins and Peter August. It's not that these two crazed stalkers died but the aftermath is what has fans troubled. Dr. Finn has taken an oath to do no harm and yet he knocked Peter August down the hospital stairs. Nurse Liz Weber is supposed to aid those in need but she convinced Finn that Peter was dead and to not tell anyone what happened.

The idea of a doctor and a nurse behaving in such a manner has GENERAL HOSPITAL fans up in arms on social media. In addition, there is a lot of chatter regarding Maxie not telling anyone that Nurse Jenkins fell into a hole. Ms. Jones walked off and never looked back, nor did she tell anyone the truth but it may soon come out. Maxie's new friend Dr. Austin has said that he knows the woods like the back of his hand and will have a search party looking for clues. It's inevitable that Chloe's body will be found unless she somehow escaped.

Once Nurse Jenkins fell through the plywood, she did not call for help and neither did she moan as if in pain. It's not clear how much soap time has elapsed but in real time it has been a few days. Chloe may have survived and climbed out somehow but that is not likely. What probably will happen is that those who are searching will find her and then there will be questions about the baby.

Port Charles residents will wonder why the baby was not with Nurse Chloe and why there is no evidence of baby Louise in the woods. Everyone might come to the gruesome conclusion that the child was eaten by wild animals but that would be too simple. Meanwhile, Brooke Lynn, Valentin, and the Quartermaine clan are falling in love with Bailey, Lois, Quartermaine who actually does not exist. Some GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers thought BLQ might give the child the name of her "father" but she did not.

Maxie got a glimpse of her child last week just as Valentin showed up in the hospital and received his first look at his "daughter." This is a messy situation and spoilers say that BLQ and the fake dad will fall hard for the little girl and possibly each other. In the midst of all this love and bonding is the fact that Maxie left Chloe Jennings for dead. It's true that what she did for Peter was pretty bad but the actions of the new mother were not much better.

Right now Maxie is trying to heal from giving birth in the woods and deal with the fact that her baby is being raised by someone else. At some point, however, she will probably start to relieve her adventure in the woods and could be tormented by memories of what happened to Chloe. Maxie will also have to be strong enough to handle all the fallout from Peter's various crimes and the fact that he seems to have gotten away. She might even live in fear that he could resurface because she has no idea what really happened to him.

Spoilers have said that Peter's body would disappear but its; not known if that is because of Liz and Finn or someone else. Security footage from the hospital should show Peter going into the stairwell as well as Dr. Finn following close behind and Liz later showing up. These two individuals are supposed to save lives and not take them yet they stood over Peter's allegedly deceased body without any sense that they cared that he was a human.

Time will now be of the essence in finding a cure for Chase and perhaps it lies somewhere in the papers that Anna presented Finn that came from Sean Donnelly's files. As he works against the clock to save his brother, will the doctor feel any remorse for what happened to Mr. August? How can Liz Weber simply go on with her life as if she were not a party to this crime? She may feel that she received justification for Franco's murder but it all may come back to bite her in time.

GENERAL HOSPITAL has at times allowed crimes to go unnoticed such as when Valentinblew up the boat with Cassandra Pierce on board and when Nikolas poisoned his grandmother Helena. A number of viewers of the ABC soap say they do not believe that what happened to Peter and Chloe will be swept under the rug but only time will tell so stay tuned.
