'General Hospital' fans are fuming because Carly wants a real marriage to Jason

GENERAL HOSPITAL (GH) viewers are angry over spoilers that suggest Carly(Laura Wright) wants to have sex with Jason (Steve Burton). The duo was intimate several decades ago but had remained in the friend zone until now. Fans are fuming because this storyline has gone on for so long and are ready for it to end. Some say that if Jason and Carly it the sheets it will change the dynamic moving forward when Sonny(Maurice Bernard) returns to Port Charles.

Spoilers for the ABC soap reveal that there are a number of things that could stop the wedding but none of them will change the fact Jarly's feelings have evolved. Cyrus Renault(Jeff Kober is trying to influnce the five families into eliminating Carly and Jason. He wants them out of the way so he can get back into the mob. GH rumors suggest that there could be a shooting that will stop the nuptials before the couple says "I do."

General Hospital viewers know that Jax is going to get the truth out of Nina so he might bring Sonny home before the wedding ceremony is complete. Although he believes he is Mike and is falling in love with Nina Sonny Corinthos is still the legal husband of Carly so marriage to Jason will not be legal. The bigger issue from all of this is that fans are outraged to see Jason and Carly begin having romantic feelings for each other.

There are also Brason lovers who have been shocked at the way Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was been discarded. She and Jason had chemistry and seemed to be falling in love until the script was flipped to put Jason and Carly together. Over the decades GH fans has said they do not like mob violence but the writers continue to use it in storylines. When the Floating Rib exploded, Lulu was injured and Dev and Julian died fans said they had had enough. Carly and Jason crossing the line, however, will cause more damage than any mob shootout.

It's not clear yet whether Jarly will be stopped before they go too far or if they will hit the sheets and find out about Sonny later. The conflicting emotions between all involved will certainly take time to sort out. Jasper Jax(Ingo Rademacher is angry with Nina but still cares for her. He hates Sonny but does not want Carly to marry Jason. Sonny as "Mike" is falling for Nina but what happens when he remembers his love for Carly?

Nina has residual feelings for both Jax and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)) and she had to know that falling for Sonny was not going to work out. If Carly had not blurred the lines and kept the marriage as one of convenience then Jason would have followed her lead. GH spoilers have not suggested how any of this will play out but one thing is certain. Viewers are against Jason and Carly sleeping together but if they do it will change everything in their lives moving forward.

The friendship between Sonny and Jason will be damaged even if Mr. Corinthos understands why his wife and best friend made the decisions they did. He may even understand how their feelings began changing but going forth the three of them cannot go back to the way that it was. By the time the entire truth is revealed even Britt may decide it's too little too late. Sam seems to be moving on with Dante but some spoilers suggest she and Drew might get together again. Jason could b left all alone trying to figure out how he got into this mess.
