The Novaks are one of the five mob families in Port Charles on General Hospital. On August 2017, Sonny Corinthos called a meeting of the Five Families to announce his retirement and a Mr. Novak played by Larry Guli was in attendance. This was the meeting where Sonny announced that Jason,(Drew) had retired and he would be splitting up his territories between the remaining families. Sonny had decided he was only going to be running his legitimate businesses like Corinthos Coffee.

On January 14, 2021, Brick told Jason that the Novaks had begun moving a "product" to Port Charles. Later Brick and Jason found that all the Novaks had been killed inside of a warehouse. It was presumed that Mr. Novak was among the dead and General Hospital viewers should recall that Cyrus Renault shot up a warehouse when he was attempting to “help” Sonny's organization. This is why it is assumed that he was behind the killing of the Novak family.

Spoilers are now saying there was at least one member of this crime family who is still around. A trusted source has leaked the fact that Vincent Novak will soon show up in the flesh in Port Charles. It's not clear how long this character will be around or how old he is and no one has yet been cast in the role. Larry Guli could be called back or a different actor could take on the role. What is known is that Vincent will attempt to recruit Damian Spinelli to join him so he can benefit from his tech skills. He will even tell Damian that his friends call him Vince.

This mobster obviously will try to take advantage of Sonny’s death and the fact that Jason is in Pentonville. General Hospital fans do not like mob wars and probably will not desire for any of the five families to have a visible presence in Port Charles. Now that Sonny is presumed dead, things are falling apart around his loved ones. Jason is in Pentonville and has just been stabbed by Shawn Butler on Carly's orders. Cyrus is running rampant in an attempt to control the city as well as the hospital. Now that he has his mother Gladys back in his control there is no telling what he will do to cause drama.

Carly is trying to keep the business running and fans know she always messes things up. Now Vincent Novak is going to try to get Spinelli to join him and leave Jason behind. Viewers know that no one will ever pry Damian away from Stone Cold and the Valcary, his names for Carly and Jason. He might go undercover which could be kind of risky. Spoilers say Novak will tell Spinelli that his friends call him "Vince" but it's not clear just what will happen next.

Without any details, it's not known if this character has a wife or children. If he is single he might even try to woo Carly. General Hospital viewers are eager for Sonny to come home to Port Charles and leave Nixon Falls behind. Carly needs him as she is dealing with a lot of issues all on her own. Jason is in the hospital and Carly does not like his new bond with Brit. Vincent Novak will be another issue for her to deal with. Spoilers suggested Carly had Jason stabbed so she could get him out of jail but perhaps she only wanted him in the hospital so she could talk to him.

Bradford Anderson who portrays Damian Spinelli recently did an interview where he shared some exciting news. He said that his characters was going to have more air time on General Hospital and that some exciting scenes were coming up. Fans will be glad to see Spinelli back on the screen and perhaps he will have more going on than his connection with Vince Novak. Stay tuned for updates regarding this new character.
