Devon may lose Elena on 'The Young and the Restless'

Spoiler alerts for The Young and the Restless are promising big trouble is in store for Devon and Elena. It won’t take a lot to split them apart because there is already so much tension between the couple. Some viewers have expressed how the duo seems to be stalling and not really moving forward. One reason is that the “ ghost” of Hilary has never been deal with and now her identical twin has surfaced. Britney Sarpy and Bryton James are dating in real time but are not exuding chemistry together on screen. Spoilers suggest that the writers may put them out of their misery and end this stalemate.

Although Elena is with Devon she spends a lot of time one on one with Nate. Amanda has not moved forward with Dr. Hastings and at times seems interested in Billy. Now that this bombshell had been dropped, she is in Devon's face and everything will change. Soap Dirt, and Soaps.com both now indicate that Amanda will be a problem for the Devon and Elena and that Nate will also be caught up in the drama. Spoilers tease that lines will be blurred and there will be confusion between the four people involved. Last week, Ms. Sinclair found out that Hilary was her twin sister. She seemed to truly be rattled by the revelation but now is in full detective mode.

On Friday, Amanda showed herself to be very much like her twin when she pushed Devon for answers right in front of Elena. The lawyer grilled Devon and practically begged him to tell her everything about her sister. She completely ignored the fact that he was uncomfortable with her questions and that Elena was disturbed by it all. Ms. Dawson had to step in and tell the attorney to stop asking questions and leave because Devon could help her no more. Amanda is showing herself to be just as self-absorbed as Hilary was. Elena has always been insecure about her relationship with Devon and with good reason. She has remained in Hillary's shadow and now things are about to go from bad to worse.

Hilary is dead and gone and Devon says Elena is his future but he has not truly gotten over his deceased wife. Now, her long lost sibling is in Genoa City and bringing back all the memories from the past. According to spoilers, Devon is going to have some type of tribute to his late spouse. This will be insulting to Elena and she will no doubt become even more infuriated. Spoilers say Ms. Dawson is going to turn to Nate, while Amanda will seek Billy’s help in obtain facts about her twin. On Monday. Elena was with Nate and Devon was with Amanda, who said she was curious about her sisters as her life has taken on a new dimension.

Spoilers also tease that Amanda’s new revelation will take a toll on everyone involved. When she first came to Genoa a Christmas ty she was reserved and was observant. Now w that she knows Hilary was her son Ayer she is over the top in trying to get information. The truth is, that no one in Genoa City can shed any light on Hilary’s past. Perhaps this is why Billy will use his resources to get the information and. Saint Clair desires. Meanwhile, Devon is reeling and that from the twin reveal and not honking clearly. He continues to say things that hurt Elena and can’t seem to stop himself. Nate and Elena have always been close but have never crossed any lines.but this may push them to cross boundaries.

This could be about to change and they might act on their underlying feelings. Devon seems vulnerable, even gullible where Hilary is concerned. Is it possible that he might transfer his feelings for his late wife to the woman who has her face? Amanda, Nate, Elena, and Devon will have complicated emotions during the coming week.
