Days fans want Jen Lilley to return as Theresa Donavan

Across social media platforms, Days of Our Lives fans have been vocal about one of the craziest cast changes on the show. They are saying what they desire to see in Salem in 2024 which is to see Jen Lilley return as Theresa Donavan. Some fans commented on a Soap Opera Digest article saying the same thing that is popping up on Facebook groups. No one thinks Emily O'Brien is the right actress to portray Theresa and that she did a better job as her former character. Days viewers are saying she should return to her previous character Gwen Rizczech. because she was ideal in the role.

Lilley has confused fans about her exit as she first said Days of Our Lives stunned her when they cut her stint short after only 3 weeks. (per US Magazine. She later stated that her family and other acting obligations did not allow her to work full-time on the Peacock soap and leaving was her choice so fans are not sure what to believe.

DOOL viewers want O'Brien back as Gwen

Now that Dimitri Von Loechuner (Peter Porte) is in jail perhaps Gwen might return to Salem and maybe she and Leo Stark ( Greg Rikaart) could work through their differences to become friends again. Leo has his job back at the Invader so it looks like his life might settle down at least until everyone finds out he knew Nicole Walker's (Arienne Zucker) baby was alive. he did try to tell her but EJ Dimera (Dan Figueroa) shut him down.

One thing that everyone seems to agree on is that except for a blonde wig O'Brien looks, sounds, and acts like Gwen rather than Theresa and she does not do a very good job of disguising her British accent. Jen Lilley is busy filming movies for GAC so even if Days of Our Lives asked her back at this time she might not be able to do it. (Newsbreak).

DOOl fans are not fond of Holly and Tate

Days of Our Lives viewers are also saying they do not like the storylines surrounding Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann). Holly is trying to break up Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowen) and Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman). Now EJ wants to make Johnny take the fall for his stepdaughter's overdose when he is innocent. Some DOOL fans say they are not going to watch this storyline because it's unfair for EJ to bully an innocent teenager. Sometimes soap fans cannot comprehend how there is such a disconnect between what they desire and what the writers pen.

Nicole needs her baby back

Celeb Dirty Laundry has a reputation for printing speculation as fact but a recent post has DOOL viewers talking. The spoiler claims that the executive producer did an interview with TV Guide where he said that Sloan Petersen ( Jessica Serfaty) is going to demand that Nicole take baby Jude back. I was not able to find any information indicating that Corday had a recent interview with TV Guide or that he made that statement. whether this is true or not Days of Our Lives viewers say they want Nicolee reunited with her baby and with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

Hopefully, if fans get their way in 2024 Holly will make it through her crisis and clear Tate's name and they both will be sent back from where they came or given better storylines. Chanel and Johnny will remarry without interference, Emily O'Brien will reprise her role as Gwen, and Jen Lilley will return as Theresa.
