The Young and the Restless viewers have been wondering when Cane Ashby would exit Genoa City and now the time is at hand. Daniel Goddard announced on Instagram and Twitte that he only has two episodes left. The walls are closing in and it's looking like Mr. Ashby may leave town the same way he came, which was as a con man. On Friday's episode Jill caught up with Coin and scolded him for impersonating Chance who is a federal agent. No details have come forth regarding the conclusion to the saga of Katherine's will but things are looking bad for Cane. This could end up being a smoke screen but the truth is close at hand.

Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that Cane will have a tragic fate which suggests he will leave Genoa City in shame. Mr. Ashby was not on he episode of The Young and the Restless that aired on Friday, so it's possible that Colin and his son may be gone by Thanksgiving. Jill's mate got to her on Friday and she fell into her arms. Colin insisted the will pages were legit and that Tucker was behind the scam, although some spoilers said Cane would get the blame. Some fans believe Katherine may have initially left everything to Cane when she thought he was Philip IV but changed her will when she found out Devon was her blood grandchild. With only two episodes left viewers will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see how all of this plays out.

Simon Black made a call from jail which implied he has dirt on Colin so Jill's sweetie might be facing jail time. There is also the issue of why Cane will leave Genoa City. He may take the money and decide to start over, or it may turn out that Katherine's fortune belongs to Devon. Cane could show himself to be a better man and return the money to its rightful owner. If he is guilty of a con he may leave town in shame. Lane fans wish there was a better ending for Cane and Lily. It would have been nice if there had been one final kiss to seal the deal or if Daniel Goddard's final scene had been his telling his wife goodbye. Tristan Rogers reportedly is only going to be on The Young and the Restless for two episodes. He has already aired on Friday so he will only be seen one more time.

Will Colin escape the fate that Simon Black is setting up for him and ride off into the sunset with Jill, or will he and his son face the music for their actions. Soap Dirt reveals that on Monday Cane will feel cornered but give no details of why. The spoiler only says that Mr. Ashby is headed out of Genoa City. Something is up because when Chance said he was headed to he Maldives, Cane became anxious and asked him not to go. This indicates that there is obviously something he is hiding. Soap Hub points out that Colin sweet talked Jill and worked his magic on her. She heard what she wanted to hear and is ignoring that his story is full of hole. Thankfully this storyline is about to be over and fans will obtain the closure they are looking for.

Celebrating the Soaps presented a poll to fans of The Young and the Restless asking what they thought would happen to Katherine Chancellor's fortune. 92% said they believed Devon would retain his inheritance. This may be what most viewers desire but the storyline could go in a totally different direction. There is absolutely no idea at this point to know how his will all turn out. Devon Hamilton has been written as a good guy and he has been treated poorly time and time again. There was a lot of drama early on with Hilary and then he lost her and their unborn child in the car wreck. Neil's death was a shock and prior to Hilary Devon was unlucky in love. He even had a failed attempt at love with Mariah.

On Friday, Devon complained to Elena that he allowed himself to be pressured into to signing away his inheritance. He is very troubled at what has happened and is second guessing himself. Elena told him to count his blessings and be thankful but 2 billion dollars is a lot of money to give up. This is especially true if fraud is involved. Devon could actually lose everything and Cane and his father make out like bandits. Colin Atkinson is slippery as an eel and once Jill gets out of his bed she will realize it. She will be beside herself when she realizes she has been duped yet again.
