These two need to move on from thei8r hatred of Adam

It’s been eight years since Billy and Chloe’s daughter Delia was struck down by Adam Newman. A lot has changed in Genoa City since 2013 but one fact remains. Billy and Chloe's hatred for Adam continues to motivate their actions. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has done a great job at redeeming the bad boy Newman in recent months. He rescued his niece Faith from the accident after she drove Victor's truck into a tree while drunk. Adam then saved her life by becoming her organ donor. He was even fo a short period trying to fight his feelings for Sharon and suggested that she and Rey work out their marital problems.

At this point, even Nikki is willing to give him another chance but Billy and Chloe cannot let go of their ire for this man. Adam went out of his way to get Chloe a job and she agreed to work for him. Spoilers, however, suggest that she might be involved in a secret plot with Chelsea to take Adam down. Billy recently harassed Sharon by insisting that she should stay away from her former lover. He went on to say that as a therapist she should be able to see through Adam and realize he is putting on an act.

Billy has enough to wory about withotu Adam

It's really not his business to monitor Sharon and "Billy Boy" should be focused on his own current situation. He promised Summer that he would look out for Kyle and he is working with Phyllis to find out what Tara and Sally are up to. Billy also needs to be focused on Lily and his children. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers understand that Chloe and Billy blame Adam for the death of Delia but their constantly trying to expose him as unredeemable is getting tiring.

Billy should consider how Victor never gives him the benefit of the doubt and cut Adam some slack. His sidekick Chloe should either walk away from her job with Adam or agree to do it without any malice. Working for Adam while simultaneously trying to undermine him is a waste of time and viewers don't want to see this play out. Victor Newman and Jack Abbott's feuds over the decades were interesting, over the top, and kept fans on the edge of their seats. Watching Chloe and Billy always blaming Adam for everything and holding on to the pain of Delia's death is exhausting for THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers to watch.

Elizabeth Hendrickson is a talented actress and there is so much more to her character than obsessing on Adam, Chloe also should be doing more than simply being a sidekick for Chelsea. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS writers need to give her a storyline where she does no even come in contact with Billy or Chelsea. Chloe is always being portrayed as a victim who is acting out. This was evident when she stole Billy's sperm donation in an attempt to give birth to a replacement baby for Delia.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS needs to change the writing for Billy Abbott as well ad not have him always doing well only to sabotage himself. Viewers definitely are saying on social media that it is way past the time for Chloe and Billy to stop focusing on how to make Adam pay and trying to prove to Genoa City that he is no good. Billy has a great relationship with Lily and a steady job at Chance Com. The writers should build on this or somehow get him back to Jabot after his nephew leaves town,

The Abbott family business will then be devoid of Abbotts except for Jack so there are a number of angles that storylines can be built upon. There is so much that can be explored with Chloe and Kevin if only the writers put some time into it. Whatever comes next, the overwhelming consensus from those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is that Billy and Chloe should definitely steer clear of Adam Newman. It's understandable that they will never be fans of Victor's youngest son and with good reason. They do need to stop trying to make everyone else feel the same way as they do.
