Theo may continue to cause trouble for Skyle

On The Young and the Restless, it’s difficult to determine whether it is Summer or Kyle who is displaying more immaturity. On the eve of their elopement, he was texting Lola. Summer saw the messages and ran away. He should have used a little wisdom and she should have nipped this in the bud. All she had to do was talk to him but instead, she might now have initiated their downfall. Summer hired someone to tail Kyle and in the meantime, she is hiding in plain sight in Genoa City. Everyone thinks she is out of town thinking about her relationship, except Faith who ran into her at Chancellor Park.

Instead of being responsible and working at Jabot, Summer is pretending that she has left town and seems not to care about her job. Now, as soon as Dina died and Kyle went right to Society to talk to Lola. How insensitive he is to keep showing up at her restaurant after he broke her heart. Jack told his son to go find Summer and make things right with her but too much damage may have been done. Theo put the breakup on Social Media so now the entire world knows. Neither Kyle nor Summer is showing any true initiative to reach out to the other and this may be very telling.

As stated before, the spoilers have said that Skyle fans should not be worried. . They indicate that Kyle and Summer have a little distance between them because of COVID restrictions. A little distance would be showing the couple working together or having an evening out sitting across the table from each other. A little distance would be having Kyle and Summer interacting with other Genoa City residents and not in the same scenes. Many Skyle fans are troubled by what is going on and wonder of the dup can come back from all of this drama.

Last week Summer's spy recorded Kyletellingn Lola that he was going to be calling other women for dates. Viewers actually saw him make plans to meet with one woman when he goes to New York. These are not the actions of a man in love who desires to get his fiance back. It's not clear where the writers are going with this but one thing is certain. Kyle is becoming more and more disillusioned and Summer is clearly heartbroken. She can't stay in hiding forever because she has a job that she must do for Jabot. Jack has been willing to give her time, but time may be running out.

Perhaps Summer and Kyle are simply two spoiled rich kids who never grew up and do not know how to handle a relationship. Each has given the other enough signs so that things did not have to go this far. Kyle should have walked away when Summer slept with Billy and played mind games with him. Summer should have told him "That's all folks" when he did not honor the agreement of their first marriage. Kyle promised her a year if she saved Lola's life by being an organ donor. He married her, consummated the marriage then dumped Summer as soon as Lola was able to say "I do."

The longer the confusion goes on, the more difficult it will be to put the pieces of the relationship back together. Kyle is grieving for Dina and could use Summer's shoulder to lean on. There is also the fact that the Abbott's kept Theo out of the loop and he did not get to say goodbye to his grandmother. It was difficult for viewers to understand why not one of them thought of Theo at this critical time. Fans can rest assured, however, that one way or another Mr. Vanderway will seek revenge. This may send him down a path of constantly trying to sabotage his cousin every chance he gets. Blasting the break up all over the Internet could only be the tip of the iceberg. Theo could attempt to make sure that Skyle never gets hitched. Of course they are doing a pretty good job of that on their own, so stay tuned.
