Will they get back together or continue to play games?

For a while, on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS it seemed that Billy Abbott and Lily Winters made a really cute couple and it was driving Victoria mad. Vicki made up excuses to show up at Chance Com, and even pretended she was trying to keep her father from destroying the company that Jill left in the hands of Bil-Ly. Victor Newman's daughter even told her dad to back off when he was certain that Billy had shot Adam. Vicki continued to be protective of her ex even though he had moved on with Lily.

Victoria even used Johnny and Katie in attempts to interfere with date nights between her former husband and his new love. Many who were watching the CBS daytime drama took notice that Billy seemed to enjoy the antics of his ex and was not really discouraging her. There was this banter between the two that let the viewing audience know the chemistry between them was still there. Lily was annoyed but Vicki never really crossed any lines that would lead the duo to kick her to the curb. For the sake of the children, Lily has agreed to play nice even though she is annoyed.

The tables now have turned in this twisted mind game that Villy plays with each other and this week Billy will show his true colors on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Mr. Abbott has been suspicious of Ashton Locke from day one and does not like the fact that his former wife is getting involved with the man. Billy has tried to obtain answers from Victoria but she basically tells him to mind his own business and walks away with a triumphant smirk on her face.

Can Victor and Lily keep Vily apart?

Billy wants to know if there is something romantic going on or if it is a business venture or both, but Vicki won't spill. He is now going to use the children by saying he is concerned about who their mother brings around them. Billy and Victoria cannot make it as a couple but do not like it when the other finds someone new. Vicki can see that Lily is good for her ex and bringing out a side of him that she never could. This week, however, Victoria's friendship with Ashton is going to bring back the old Billy Abbott in a major way.

Billy's instincts are good but if he knew what was really going on he would truly flip out. Ashland is dying from lung cancer and Victoria has become his confidant during his last 6 months of life. She also made a proposition that Ashland combines his company with Newman Enterprises so that his legacy will go on into the future. There is also the possibility that things will become physical between the two before Locke's health declines and it's clear that there is a spark between them.

Last week Victoria was beaming as she kept Billy guessing about her connection to Ashland. He is now obsessed with finding out what is really going on between the two and this will eventually cause problems for Lily. When Bil-Ly began dating, Ms. Ashby knew that Victoria and the kids were a part of the deal. She has put up with Vicki hanging around and Billy spending time with his ex for the sake of getting a scoop and also to visit the children.

Will Ashland live long enough to make a difference to Victoria?

Lily is not going to like it when she finds out that Billy is obsessed with Victoria spending time with Ashland Locke. No matter what excuse he gives, Lily is going to realize that the real issue is that he is jealous. Victoria and Billy have been playing this game with each other for decades and it will probably go on for many more. They break up, date others, try to sabotage the relationships then eventually get back together.

Spoilers tease that Ashton may not be on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS past the summer but that will be enough time for Vicki to use him for her ulterior motive. If she can obtain his company she will have outdone her dad and Adam. Billy becoming jealous and paying more attention to her is an added bonus and it might lead to Villy reconnecting down the road. This is win win for Vicki but a torment for Billy who has an addictive spirit.

Whatever Billy Boy Abbott sets his sites on, becomes like the dog with the bone he will not give up. Billy is always obsessed with besting Victor and Adam who together have cost him his marriage and his daughter Deliah. Billy cannot forgive, forget and move on, which is why he continues to write scathing stories about the Newmans. Victoria exploits this weakness whe4never it suits her purpose and leads the father of her children around as if she has a leash on him.

Only Kyle does not have an angle

Lily will probably be glad that her rival seems to have moved on with Ashland Locke but spoilers say Billy is going to go off the rails about the relationship. Victoria will gloat and rub it in his face without really saying anything. Before you know it Billy will be obsessed with his ex-wife again and could lose Lily in the midst. If Ashland does die or leaves town Billy and Victoria might both be alone but that will be no fun as each one likes to focus on the other when they are with someone else.

If a Villy reunion comes out of this, longtime viewers know that it will blow up in a matter of time. For now, those who enjoy THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are probably going to see that Billy has not changed all that much and that Vicki hanging around Ashland will bring out the worst in him. On the other side we have Tara playing games and it seems that only Kyle is innocent among the group. All he wants is to be in his son's life. Victoria, Ashland, and Tara all have ulterior motives and there is no clue who will come out on top so stay tuned.
