Billy Abbott’s House of Cards is About to Fall on ‘The Young and the Restless.’

Fans of The Young and the Restless continue to be baffled by Billy Abbott’s recent actions. Facebook groups dedicated to the CBS daytime drama are filled with questions that viewers have related to this bizaare situation. Jack’s little brother has begun making irrational decisions and viewers feel everything is about to cave in on him. First Billy dealt with Dissociative disorder,(DID). His alter ego set him up to think Delilah was haunting him and later tried to run down Adam. Billy gave Kyle an extremely hard time when they were co-CEO’s of Jabot, then abruptly walked away from his father’s company.

Billy began gambling again, flirting with Amanda and living a carefree life as if he has no responsibilities. Victoria and Victor pressed him about being unemployed and asked what his plan is. Now he claims to have a consulting job in Chicago, but many viewers believe he is lying. A few months back it was announced that Jason Thompson had sold his California home. This caused the rumor mill to begin saying that the actor would be released from his role. There was even much speculation that Billy Miller might return as Billy Abbott but nothing had been confirmed.

One thing that The Young and The Restless viewers know is that Billy cannot continue flirting with danger and lying to his family. He will either have an affair with Amanda, lose big while gambling or perhaps both. If he really does not have a job in Chicago making acquisitions then this too will be revealed. On Friday, Billy spent time at the Abbott home for Christmas Eve. While there he was on the phone with his alleged employer. He told Jack that he had completed his deal and after dinner he went home. He was supposed to be preparing to join Victoria and the children in Colorado. Instead he sat at a table playing cards and thinking about Amanda.

William Abbott is miserable, self absorbed and headed for a big fall. The question is who will he take down with him. Some viewers believe he will not even make to Colorado but will end up in bed with Amanda. Y&R viewers Viewers don’t have a clear picture of where this is situation is headed, but do realize Billy's shenanigans cannot go on indefinitely. At some point Billy’s secrets will be revealed and he will be headed for a big fall. He has crashed and burned many times before and the writers don't seem to want him to change. Every time he begins doing pretty well, he falls apart again. He was forgiven for sleeping with Phyllis when she was married to Jack, but he has a secret that would destroy everything should it come to light.

Right now only Phyllis and Kyle know that Billy slept with Summer while he was dating her mother. The situation seems to have been swept under the rug and there does not seem to be a logical reason for it to come to light. On daytime drama however, secrets seem to find a way to be revealed. The knowledge that Jacks brother went to bed with his almost stepdaughter who is the biological daughter of Nick and the granddaughter of Victor would cause much alarm. Victoria would probably be more angry that Billy never told her than the fact that he slept with her niece.

Everything could hit the fan for Jill's son all at once which would give him a reason to exit Genoa City and start over. Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that Victoria will become suspicious and ask her non husband if he is gambling again. Billy will reply that it is much bigger than that. The spoiler also says that he will decide not to spend New Years Eve with Vicki and most likely end up with Amanda that night. Billy has come back from the dark side before, but this time viewers sense something is different. His emotional disorder caused him to attempt to murder Adam, he walked away from the family business, he's gambling, and also contemplating an affair. Perhaps he may decide to leave town to move to Chicago, where his job is located when everything hits the fan. Be sure to stay tuned and find out.
