Billy Miller's cause of death has been revealed

Truth often is not pretty but is real, raw, and factual which is the case with the cause of death for beloved soap star Billy Miller. The actor who began his soap career on All My Children, as Richie Novak. He next was a recast for Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless and fans were disappointed when he left the CBS soap.

Miller next was a recast for Jason Morgan on General Hospital and later portrayed Jason's twin Drew Cain. GH viewers were angry when Drew was written out of the soap and some had a hard time accepting Cameron Mathison in the role when it was recast. One of the actor's last known roles was opposite Meghan Markle in Suits.

Miller's death continues to affect his fans

Miller, 43 passed away in September and his many fans were shocked and saddened. Details about his death were not available at the time and at first it was said that he died from a stroke. Later came the news that Billy had taken his own life. Now, 3 months later details are being reported by People online and the news is disheartening.

Miller's death shook up not only the soap world but the entertainment industry as a whole. After his death, Billy's mother said the disease had won and this was troubling to the fans. Many of Miller's co-stars from General Hospital and The Young and the Restless spoke out sharing good thing s they remembered about the actor.

Kelly Monaco who was his love interest Sam McCall on General Hospital caught a lot of hate from fans who said she owed it to Miller to say something after his death, Monaco and Miller were very close and described each other as best friends. Some fans even thought the two were dating but they denied it. Kelly is probably devastated and unable to speak on the matter.

The official report

The official autopsy report continued, explaining Miller's blood alcohol level was listed at 0.08 and "Postmortem toxicology demonstrated the presence of ethanol(alcohol), cocaine, and its metabolites, diphenhydramine, (allergy cold medication) and amphetamine."

Miller was bipolar and dealt with depression

Miller was dealing with two emotional disorders which are considered to have played a role in his demise. obtained the Travis County Medical Examiner’s autopsy report which revealed the following.

On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Miller 43- who had a history of bipolar disorder and depression was found deceased in the bathtub of his Austin, Texas residence " with an apparent gunshot wound to the head,"

There were also multiple letters found at the scene indicating the actor's suicidal intent and instructions for others. A revolver chambered for .410 shotgun shells was found in Miller's right hand.

Additional information about Billy Miller

Entertainment Tonight has revealed that marijuana was also found in Billy Miller's system. There had not been reports that the actor dealt with substance misuse so it's possible he was self-medicating. All of this is probably overwhelming for Miller'[s fans and must have been traumatic for his mother and sister whom he left behind.

Sometimes we look at television characters who seem larger than life and invincible and forget these are actors playing a role. They deal with the same life issues as the rest of us and theirs may be compounded by their fame.
