Wedding bells may be in the air.

Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS overwhelmingly believe that Ashland Locke is playing Victoia Newman. Many viewers think he is using her in order to get back at her father for what happened during Ashland's heart attack. A promo for Friday shows Locke talking to Victoria about a honeymoon which implies he wants to marry her. At this present time, the Lockeness monster seems to have toned down his bad behavior and is trying to be a better person. The question on everyone's minds is whether or not he can be trusted?

Ashland and Victoria have been planning a trip to New York and while preparing for the excursion Ms. Newman told her new beau that she is in love with him. She shared with Billy that she wanted to stick with Locke for as long as it lasted and now, instead of planning to die Ashland has decided to seek treatment for his condition. On the surface, it looks as if Vashland is simply a couple in love and his condition has brought them closer. Even Billy has given his blessing for this man to live in the home with his ex-wife and children.

There are still quite a few viewers of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS who are not buying this and they are waiting for the other shoe to drop. A number of fans of the CBS soap believe that Ashland is tricking Victoria in order to get his hands on Victor's company. Perhaps he is ruthless and diabolical and deserves to be called the Lockeness monster. So far, Ash has not made any secret phone calls or done anything on screen that would give the impression that he is lying but there still are fans who don't trust him.

Os Ashland seeking revenge on Victor:?

This past week Victoria found him lying on the floor as if he had fainted and he did refuse to go to the doctor. This caused a number of viewers to say that he was faking and knew what time she would arrive home. Spoilers had said that Richard Bergi would only be on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS through the summer which suggested that his character might die. Now that he is seeking treatment and a future with Victoria inquiring minds want to know what is really going on.

The fact that they don't know how long Ashland supposedly has to live could inspire the couple to marry right away. It's not likely under the circumstances that Victoria would turn him down or make him wait. They might even elope while in New York and alert their family and friends when they return to GENOA CITY.

In the promo for next week, Victoria and Ashland discuss how the business merger is a marriage of sorts and this is when Locke says they could make it their honeymoon. Spoilers continue to tease that Ash is faking his illness and Vicki is in for heartbreak and betrayal down the road. Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are waiting on some type of concrete evidence that Locke is faking or something that confirms he does care for Victor's daughter.

Will Billy have to pick up the pieces after Ashland dumps Victoria.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS viewers know that Ashland does love his son but could his recent conversation with the boy have been a ruse? Kyle left home so Locke could have some alone time with Harrison and explain that he is ill but will be seeking treatment. Prior to this, he had claimed he was going to tell his son that he was dying.

Is Ashland Locke so cruel that he would use his own son in a game in order to best Victor Newman or is he a sick man who is in love? Is it possible that both could be true and how will all of this end? One thing that is certain is that Victoria has indeed fallen for the ruthless businessman. How he really feels about her is the question on everyone's mind. Be sure to tune in to THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS next week and find out what happens next.
