The drama is heating up in Genoa City as The Young and the Restless heads into May Sweeps. Two current storylines are going to merge and the drama on the CBS daytime soap will intensify. Faith Newman's health and her uncle Adam being on the run are about to collide and will shift the attitudes of the Newman family as well as others.

There has been much speculation, rumors, and spoilers for The Young and the Restless that did not pan out regarding Victor's son and his granddaughter. It looks like now the information being given is accurate and things might just work out for Adam and Faith, at least in the short term. They could even form a bond from their shared experience.

Spoiler alerts for The Young and the Restless from Celeb Dirty Laundry had said last week that Nick Newman was willing to do anything for his daughter Faith in order to save her life. It was teased that Nicholas would be the one who would be a match and donate a kidney to the teen. Now the same spoiler is revealing that it will definitely be Adam and not his sibling who will be the match and this will please Victor immensely.

The Newman patriarch could not have planned this any better if he had scripted it all himself. Viewers know he will use this turn of events for his own purposes. Victor will be hoping that by sacrificing a kidney for Faith, Adam will be looked at differently by the other Newmans and perhaps he can atone for his past crimes.

Everyone in the family will be tested and no one will be able to save Faith's life. Victor will make a grand entrance into the hospital area where the family is gathered and announce that he is not a match either. He will then stun everyone by saying that he knows who is a match for his granddaughter. When Victor announces that it is Adam this will send shock waves through all the Newmans, but they don't have any other options.

Time is of the essence because Nate told Nick that Faith needs help now. Dr. Hastings is trying steroids but if they do not work Faith will be on dialysis for the rest of her life. Daily Soap Dish is also reporting that Adam is the one who can save Faith. This spoiler says Sharon will be in tears because she knows her medical history will probably prevent her from helping her daughter. DSD also says that many fans are happy about this turn of events because they desire to see Adam find redemption.

The spoiler suggests that if Adam gives Faith his kidney that the entire Newman family will be indebted to him but this also will bring about some unintended consequences. Adam would have to turn himself in and no doubt this is what Nick will ask after going to Kansas to find his brother. Ry and Chelsea might be gleeful but it will be short lived. Rey hates Nick's younger sibling but he is also beginning to believe that Chelsea set him up. At the end of Wednesday's episode Rey had gone to see Chloe to find out what she knows.

Victor tells Nick on Friday that Adam might be in Kansas but not on his mother's farm. He suggests that he may have gone to the neighboring Montalvo property which is now deserted. After the surgery, Adam will be allowed to recuperate but then he might have to go to jail unless the truth is revealed first. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless to find out if Nick locates his brother and can get him to come back to Genoa City to save Faith.
