11 New Releases Coming To Netflix February 2020

Out of content already? Don't worry, Netflix has some great brand new stuff coming out and some interesting older stuff coming back. There are even a couple cult classics on this list.

New episodes of Mike Tyson Mysteries are being released weekly onto Netflix all month.

1. Blade Runner: The Final Cut

The original Blade Runner from 1982, but a remastered version.

"A blade runner must pursue and terminate four replicates who stole a ship in space, and have returned to Earth to find their creator." - IMDb

Some good score for this classic with a 82% on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.1/10 on IMDb. Available since February 1st.

2. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

"When Robin and his Moorish companion come to England and the tyranny of the Sheriff of Nottingham, he decides to fight back as an outlaw." -IMDb

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves scored a 6.9/10 on IMDb. Want to watch it now? It was released on February 1st.

3. The Notebook

"A poor yet passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman, giving her a sense of freedom, but they are soon separated because of their social differences." - IMDb

A cult classic film with an overall score of 7.8/10 on IMDb. It already came out on February 1st.

4. Who Killed Malcolm X?

A look back into history with this new mini t.v. series that was just made in 2019. Unfortunately, not much information was found on this title.

Who Killed Malcolm X? will be released onto Netflix February 7th.

5. Better Call Saul - Season 4

"The trials and tribulations of criminal lawyer Jimmy McGill in the time before he established his strip-mall law office in Albuquerque, New Mexico." -IMDb

So far the hit spin-off show had a 8.7/10 on IMDb. Who knows what the new season will bring, but I can tell you that it's all new content! The new season will be available on February 9th.

6. Narcos: Mexico - Season 2

"The rise of the Guadalajara Cartel as an American DEA agent learns the danger of targeting narcos in Mexico." -IMDb

Narcos: Mexico has a rating of 8.4/10 on IMDb and a rating of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. The new season is being releases on February 13th.

7. A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon

"When an alien with amazing powers crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun the Sheep goes on a mission to shepherd the intergalactic visitor home before a sinister organization can capture her." - IMDb

This movie certainly has a lot of reviews. Overall, it has scored a 7/10 on IMDb and an impressive score of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. If you are excited to watch this as I am, then maybe even write this one down on your calendar. A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon will be ready to watch on Netflix starting February 14th.

8. Altered Carbon - Season 2

Eight new episodes are coming to Netflix in that all new season of Altered Carbon. So far not too much information has been released, but we do know the names of all the eight episodes including the attention grabbing 'Bury Me Dead' and 'Broken Angels'.

"Set in a future where consciousness is digitized and stored, a prisoner returns to life in a new body and must solve a mind-bending murder to win his freedom." -IMDb

Altered Carbon has an 8.1/10 on IMDb and a 68% on Rotten Tomatoes. Excited? You should be! The new season will be available February 27th.

9. The Angry Birds Movie 2

"The flightless birds and scheming green pigs take their feud to the next level." -IMDb

The Angry Birds squeal scored a not so great on IMDb with a 6.4/10 and that is out of a lot of reviews. However, it did get a bit of a more impressive critic score of 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not to mention an 84% audience score, so this squeal might just be worth checking out. You can watch it on Netflix starting February 27th.

10. Restaurants on the Edge

Unfortunately, there isn't much when it comes to reviews for this new show. However, I can tell you that it's a Canadian show which is a refreshing change. All new content will be released on February 28th.

11. Mike Tyson Mysteries

A very quick and to the point description of this show is:

"Mike Tyson, his adopted daughter, a friendly ghost, and an alcoholic pigeon solve mysteries." - FlixList

Mike Tyson Mysteries 8.1/10 on IMDb and a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. As I mentioned in the featured section, new episodes are coming out weekly this month and the nest season is currently in the making. It looks like we might get the next season as early as August 2020.
