The people demanded and Netflix delivered! The list for new releases and old titles returning back to Netflix this month goes on and on. So if you are still stuck inside ... which you probably should be st stay safe and reduce the spread of COVID-19 ... then I have some good news for you! Here is a small sample of stand out Netflix originals being released this May 2020. So now you will have lots of new content to watch while staying indoors.

1. All Day and a Night

All Day and a Night has a score of 6/10 on IMDb and a 79% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It was released onto Netflix on May 1st, 2020.

2. Almost Happy

"Sebastián is a radio show host of modest fame, trying to find a way in the world as he deals with his ex-wife (whom he still loves) and two kids." - IMDb

Almost Happy has a score of 6.3/10 on IMDb so far for it's first season. Casi Feliz's Spanish comedy series was released onto Netflix on May 1st.

3. The Half of It

"When smart but cash-strapped teen Ellie Chu agrees to write a love letter for a jock, she doesn't expect to become his friend - or fall for his crush." - IMDb

The Half of It has a score of 7.2/10 on IMDb and a 95% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes. If that isn't impressive enough, it also have a pretty damn great audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, 100% as of May 5th 2020. The Half of It was released onto Netflix on May 1st.

4. Coronavirus, Explained

"In 2020, the world changed. This topical series examines the coronavirus pandemic, the efforts to combat it and ways to manage its mental health toll." -IMDb

Coronavirus Explained is a limited series and only has one episode so far and it is only 26 minutes long. There will a be a second episode that is expected to be coming to Netflix some time soon. It currently has a score of on 7.8/10 IMDb and it was released onto Netflix on May 3rd.

5. Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill

"Comedian Jerry Seinfeld performs at the Beacon Theater in New York City with his take on everyday life, uncovering comedy in the commonplace." - IMDb

Jerry Seinfeld's 23 Hours to Kill has a score of on 6.8/10 IMDb and a critic score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes ... however ... it also has a 29% audience score. It was released onto Netflix on May 5th.

6. Dead to Me - Season 2

Dead to Me has a score of on 8.1/10 on IMDb and an average audience of score 94%on Rotten Tomatoes. It will be released onto Netflix on May 8th.

7. The Wrong Missy

The Wrong Missy doesn't have any reviews yet on IMDb or on Rotten Tomatoes. It will be released onto Netflix on May 8th.

8. The Big Flower Fight

The Big Flower Fight will be available to stream on May 18th.

9. Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series - Season 2

The animated series may not be as loved as the classic Trailer Park Boys but it still has a decent score of on 7.5/10 on IMDb. It will be available to stream on May 22nd.

10. Space Force (2020)

The very first season of Space Force will be available to stream on May 29th.
